How does it feel being a part of the biggest disruption wave in the tech industry?
https://t.co/3aSYbkLt6U
This is the first of a line of posts that tries to share our experiences in changing the mindset, architeture and practices in @WixEng to fit and lead in this new world.
It's happening. Human attention is the bottleneck:
noise, context switching, loss of control.
We’re moving away from “just run more agents” to offline flows, powered by @OpenAI agents and the likes.
Agents run end-to-end. Humans focus on decisions.
This is where the 10x is.
@mattpocockuk Instead of doing code reviews I do plan reviews and a semi-TDD approach. Show me the plan and don’t call me back until you’ve fixed the failing test.
@GergelyOrosz Dog fooding is great until it isn’t. I think companies that can’t be flexible with modal selection and in general different harnessing solutions are going to face a lot of problems
Few words about our earnings yesterday and how we think about the future
First, Q3 was a clean beat and raise with quarterly growth Y/Y at 14% for both revenues and bookings and cash flow margin at 32% (rule of 46)
These results are mainly Wix based (Base44 growth is excellent but still small numbers compared to Wix) and led to the annual guidance raise
The solid Q3 (following similar results in the 1st half of the year) is testament to the strength of the Wix brand, with almost 300m signed-up users globally and many millions who rely on us every month, to support their business and livelihood
We are also projecting certain ramp up in expenses associated with the explosive growth of Base 44 - AI costs and marketing investments
We received quite a lot of questions from the investor community about Base 44 and it's potential for profitability. These are natural concerns for public market investors, however it's important to remember that Base44 is in diapers :) yet we are very confident that we know how to continue it's growth trajectory to future profitability, just like we did with Wix
We saw the stock pullback yesterday and it's never an enjoyable moment, that being said we are sure that our investments will serve to maintain and expand Wix's position as a leader in supporting businesses and entrepreneurs all across the globe
@Avishai_ab
Incredible what happens when the product speaks for itself. @base44 is up 950%+ in traffic per @Similarweb, wild how fast it’s catching up in a crowded market! @maorshlomo
The AI race isn’t about tools. It’s about 🧠 mindset.
At @Wix, @Asafy3 and Gefen Mittelman are leading one of the most ambitious internal #AI transformations, and they’re doing it with brutal clarity:
*To stay ahead, you need to break things fast, move faster, and rethink how work gets done.*
In this new podcast episode they share what it really takes to embed AI at scale inside a tech org:
Adaptability, full acceptance of the shift, and a willingness to start small and build muscle over time.
*This isn’t about sprinkling AI on top.*
It’s about reshaping workflows, infrastructure, and the way teams think. It’s bold. And it’s already happening.
Watch:
Wix’s AI journey began with bold exploration of a fast-evolving technology - and developed into a clear, company-wide strategy.
In this eye-opening conversation, @GiladBarkan, Head of the Data Science Guild, and Dr. @EliBrosh, Head of AI Research, share @Wix’s AI journey:
From the early days of navigating an emerging and unfamiliar technology, to building real AI products at scale - and ultimately laying the foundation for becoming an AI-first company.
They discuss the challenges of working through the unknown, the lessons learned from bringing AI into production, and the organizational mindset that made it possible.
Looking ahead, they also explore the next frontier: how humans and AI assistants will work together - and what companies need to do today to stay relevant in the age of AI. Watch:
We keep getting a lot of questions from friends in the industry about the vision, strategy and tactics of our AI plan in Wix.
So we sat down to talk about it as part of our @WixEng podcast series.
Coming soon...
AI in R&D - Phase 1: Wrapped.
Wix R&D just hit a major AI milestone and we celebrated by an education marathon that kicked off yesterday.
Notable achievements:
* @cursor_ai is now our main AI IDE for multiple workflows
* Astra (our in-house coding agent) is smarter and more useful than ever
* AI workflows are integrated and scaling
* The infra is there - and still evolving
We’re not done. Phase 2 is already in motion: deeper integrations, offline agent orchestration, and making sure humans stay in the loop.

@DivoSeed@maorshlomo@snird I think he meant the reason it's not 250K profit is that he spent 150k (or more, we just saw the top cost) on model usage :)
By automating workflows and abstracting logic, we’re lowering the barrier to creation.
Now a PM can generate a UX flow, wire up logic, and test, all without writing code.
Agentic infra turns dev velocity into org-wide velocity, but only if everyone plays along and improve in unison.
So... about Unblocked.
For teams with tight compliance needs, the dream is the same: contextual AI for your stack.
But until Unblocked-style tools run fully on-prem or via VPC, many will keep building in-house copilots.
Another option is secure, local context indexing.
LLMs don’t need to see the whole castle to guard the gate. 🙂
Amazon's Kiro is what I meant when I talked about multi-agent code generation platform.
Now just tell me it works as an agent I can plug into something like https://t.co/RJBOCDNTzg and I'm happy :)

Building polished FED pages with React, Tailwind, and design tokens? That’s becoming more and more easy.
The next real leap: offline-capable multi-agent systems.
Think LangGraph, A2A protocols, IDE agents working with other agents and multiple MCPs and automating the workflows we shouldn’t be manually doing.
Less boilerplate, more brains.
Cursor’s Background Agent is a huge step toward agentic IDEs.
Now imagine full A2A support inside the IDE itself.
External agents communicating with Cursor’s via a clean API or event bus.
Custom dev agents could offload, coordinate, and sync natively and hold their own natural understanding of their environment.
@cursor_ai, give us the protocol! 🙏
We’ll build the rest.
