One of our testers gave us a really simple piece of feedback about Trainno:
“Not every trainer wants to ask their clients the same questions.”
And they were right.
Some trainers care more about injuries, some about training history, habits, or something completely specific to the way they coach.
So we added custom onboarding questions.
Trainers can now choose what they want to ask, and new clients answer those questions during onboarding.
It came from a small piece of tester feedback, but it made the whole onboarding experience feel much more personal.
These are probably my favorite kinds of product changes :)

Today was one of those founder days.
We were hoping to finally move Trainno into production on Google Play.
Instead, we got rejected and were asked to do another 14 days of closed testing.
Definitely frustrating after all the work we’ve put into getting here.
But I guess this is also part of building something from zero.
So… another 14 days. More testing. More fixing. Then we try again :)
We’re not giving up.

Some days we’re honestly just really tired.
Every day feels a little harder than the one before. Sometimes we question ourselves, sometimes we wonder if we’re even doing the right thing.
But I really believe in myself, and I really believe in @egecem_sun .
I know what we’re trying to build, and I believe that one day we’ll look back at this period and be glad we didn’t give up.
For now, we keep going.

This week, a tester told us that one of the flows in Trainno wasn’t clear at all.
My first reaction was basically, “but it’s actually pretty obvious” :D
Then we looked at it again and… it really wasn’t.
We see the product every day, so sometimes we don’t realize how confusing something can feel to someone using it for the first time.
We changed it, and honestly, it turned out much better.
I think this is one of the best parts of talking to testers.

I made $0 from my products in August 2026 with @egecem_sun
Trainno — $0
Inivo — $0
Not much to celebrate on the revenue side yet, but probably one of our busiest months of building so far :)
Back to work. Let’s see what September looks like.

Today I realized something a little uncomfortable about my founder journey.
Building a product and being able to explain it are two completely different skills.
I really believe in Trainno. I believe the problem is real, and I believe we’re building something good.
But when someone asks, “So what exactly are you solving?” I sometimes struggle to explain what’s in my head even to my own friends.
I either go too deep into the details or stay so broad that the real value gets lost.
You can spend months building something, then realize that explaining it clearly in 20 seconds is almost as important as building it.
Right now, I think the biggest thing I need to learn isn’t coding or product development.
It’s marketing and distribution.
The product feels very clear in my head. Then I get to the market and freeze :)
Any other founders been through this? How did you get better at it?
And one more question for my teammate @egecem_sun : when do you think we’ll finally manage to explain Trainno in 20 seconds? :D

Building Trainno has also meant learning how to explain it clearly.
We just finished the new Trainno landing page: https://t.co/kdsddKXqBc
One thing I’m realizing as a cofounder is that a product can be technically strong and still be hard to understand from the outside.
The website forced us to simplify the story:
Trainno helps trainers manage coaching in one place, with AI assisting the workflow while the trainer stays in control.
Would love feedback on whether the value is clear at first glance.

One thing we’ve been very intentional about while building Trainno:
The trainer may be the customer, but the athlete experience still determines whether the product actually works.
A coaching tool can save the trainer time — but if the athlete doesn’t know what to do, doesn’t stay engaged, or finds the experience confusing, the whole coaching relationship suffers.
That’s why we’re building both sides of Trainno around the same coaching context.

@_ImDaniel__ Thanks a lot! 🙌 We’ll fix the mobile overflow and improve how the phone screens are presented on smaller screens. Really glad the value proposition came through clearly.

Building Trainno with @egecem_sun for #Shipaton.
Trainers and athletes need very different experiences.
Trainers need control.
Athletes need clarity.
Same product, different needs.
I’ll share more of the product decisions behind Trainno as we build.
