Not the update we wanted today.
Google Play rejected Trainno’s production access and asked us to complete another 14 days of closed testing.
We’ve already spent weeks building, testing, fixing bugs and preparing for release, so yeah… this one hurt a little :)
But this is part of shipping a real product.
We’ll keep testing, keep improving, and apply again.
Not stopping here.

We found a pretty interesting bug while building Trainno’s AI program generator.
The AI could generate a perfectly reasonable recovery or cardio session…
and our backend would reject it.
The reason?
Our validator was basically assuming every workout should look like a traditional strength session — a certain number of exercises, rest periods, etc.
So sometimes the AI wasn’t wrong.
Our guardrails were.
We changed the validation to understand different session types instead of forcing everything into the same template.
One of those bugs that looks like an “AI problem” at first, but turns out to be your own assumptions :)

Thanks for the clarification @GooglePlayBiz
We’ve already opened a support case and shared the relevant evidence with the team, including tester device screenshots and testing activity records.
We’ll continue the closed test in the meantime and keep improving Trainno while the case is being reviewed.
If there’s anything else you’d recommend we focus on during this period, we’d really appreciate the guidance.
We redesigned Trainno’s trainer dashboard after getting feedback from testers.
The biggest lesson was simple: the dashboard shouldn’t just look clean, it should help coaches understand what needs attention as quickly as possible.
So we made it more compact, reduced the noise, and surfaced critical clients earlier.
Still improving it, but this version feels much closer to what the dashboard should actually do.

I made $0 from my products in August 2026 with @AsanaElif4478.
Trainno — $0
Inivo — $0
A lot of building, a lot of learning, and apparently still a lot to learn about distribution :D
Let’s see what September brings.

I didn't work much this month. I travelled to 5 countries and spent time with my family. It's nice to have 6% churn 😇
A few days ago, @AsanaElif4478 wrote about how building a product and explaining it are two completely different skills.
I’ve been thinking about that a lot while building Trainno together.
For months, most of our conversations were about features, architecture, bugs, releases and what we should build next.
Now the questions are changing.
Who exactly needs this?
Why should they care?
How do we reach them?
Can we explain Trainno without giving a 5-minute product tour?
Building for #Shipaton has made one thing very clear to me:
Shipping the product is only half the job. Learning how to distribute it is the next one.
Still working on that 20-second Trainno explanation, Sena :D

Trainno just got its first iOS approval.
A small milestone, but an important one for @AsanaElif4478 and me.
We’re building Trainno as a connected coaching platform for trainers and athletes — with AI assisting the workflow while the trainer stays in control.
Next: real-world testing.
We’re already in touch with personal trainers for the testing phase, and we’re also open to volunteer testers on both iOS and Android. If you’d like early access and want to share feedback, feel free to reach out.

@maria5977451985@AsanaElif4478 Exactly, that’s how we see it too.
AI should remove repetitive work and help the trainer make better use of their time, but the trainer should stay in control of the final coaching decisions.
One decision we made early while building Trainno with @AsanaElif4478 :
AI shouldn’t replace the trainer.
It should remove the repetitive work around coaching.
Drafting programs, organizing client context, reviewing progress, spotting what needs attention — AI can help with all of that.
But the trainer should still make the final coaching decisions.
That’s the line we’re building around for #Shipaton.
