Two players from Sunderland AFC came to Barbara Priestman and Portland Academies this week.
The theme was United Access, so the players told us about facilities and clubs that are available for people with disabilities to join.

SEND schools like Ash Trees in Billingham do great things to help children with complex educational needs - but they need more resources.

At yesterday's education debate I raised the need for fairer funding for our SEND schools so that every child gets to reach their potential.
