A Hindu BBA student residing in Indore was befriended by a young man named Naved who posed as a Hindu 'Naveen Rana' through Facebook in 2012.

Gradually, their interactions deepened, and their relationship blossomed into romance. The accused ensnared her in his trap by promising marriage.

According to the victim, Naveen (actual name Naved) would frequently visit her in Indore; one day, under the pretext of dropping her home, he summoned her to Delhi.

The young woman alleges that the accused Naved instructed her to leave her mobile phone at home and handed her a different device(Red Flag).

Subsequently, Naved's friend, Waseem, escorted her to Hazrat Nizamuddin, from where she was transported to Muzaffarnagar. There, instead of being housed in a private residence, she was confined within a madrasa (Islamic seminary), where she was strictly forbidden from stepping outside.

The victim claims she was subjected to immense pressure to convert to Islam and to learn Islamic customs and rituals. She was coerced into offering Namaz (prayers) and studying religious texts; she was even denied food if she refused to comply.

The victim asserts that she remained trapped in the clutches of this entire network for approximately 14 years.

During this period, she was subjected to practices such as #Halala on multiple occasions.

After the morning prayers, she was taught the Quran. If she was unable to read it, she was instructed to simply keep chanting 'Bismillah, Bismillah.'
Naveen's real name was, in fact, Naved.

Though she was a Brahmin, yet at night, she was served non-vegetarian food. She was married off to an older man named Abdul Rahman.

Abdul brought her to Khatauli, where he subjected her to both mental and physical torture. When she defied him, she was sent to a madrasa in Meerut as punishment. She was sent to Jaipur, where Abdul Rahman divorced her over the phone.

She was married off to Khalid from Loni, Ghaziabad. Khalid Hussain, along with his brother-in-law, forced her to undergo Halala.

At last she could submit a written complaint at the Ankur Vihar police station against Khalid Hussain, alleging rape, harassment, and death threats. A case was registered immediately, and the accused, Khalid Hussain, has been taken into custody.

Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the remaining accused individuals.

She says in a madrasa in Meerut there were other #Hindu girls too.

There’s this guy Rajib Biswas who could get admission to a postgraduate course in orthopaedics only because he was a government servant. To contest in the recently concluded West Bengal election on a TMC ticket, he had to resign from the government service. Mamata Banerjee’s dispensation bent the rules by reserving the PG student quota seat at the National Medical College in Kolkata for him.

It is not clear whether Biswas paid a penalty for breaking the bond every government-sector medical student signs for being in the service assigned to him after he graduates.
