100% agree. My mom (whom I love and know did her best so don’t or I will crash out) did this and it’s one of the things I still have resentment about. She’s more than made up for it but like damn. I was like 14-15.

I’m just gonna say it. This is a big problem in the black community & we have to stop it. A lot of parents need help with their bills so they take money from their kids & disguise it as “teaching them responsibility” & it’s actually pretty fucking ridiculous.
