@joewintergreen Citizen Sleeper maybe? Great scifi story about just trying to get by on the fringes of space. Play revolves around managing a daily allocation of dice, these are applied to tasks with a chance of failure and success.
Failure just opens new story potential. I really recommend.
Apart from everything else, this case is a historic milestone in a long process by which the Global South reconfigures international institutions — long used as imperialist bludgeons — to serve the people they were meant to serve: the wretched of the earth.
"Hamas has no respect for international law, but we do."
UN has called Australia out for breaking NUMEROUS intl laws, incl:
- torture/arbitrary imprisonment of refugees
- violating Indigenous rights to life & culture
- excessive force, racial profiling & discriminatory policing
New Interview: I talked to Daniella Weiss, a West Bank settler and activist, about how her religious views shape her view of the conflict, why she thinks human rights should not be considered universal, and her movement’s extreme plans for the region. https://t.co/YwDBWcXGNo
This is in the West Bank, where there is no Hamas. The IDF murdered Shireen Abu Akleh because she was a journalist, attacked mourners at her funeral, and have now bulldozed a memorial to her. People who think this is 'self-defence' are depraved
it's so infuriating to see the majority of the world on palestine's side, on the right side of history yet fully unable to do anything because the world's power is condensed in a small group of very, very evil people.
speak up please speak up. palestinians are cut off from any kind of communication. no internet access, international calls are not working. there's no space for your neutrality right now. people are being wiped out literally, don't be a part of it.
One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.
