@LeoneClark “It is important that a teacher is willing to take risks and have an entrepreneurial spirit when developing learning stations.” Professional learning for this strategy is important so “student outcomes match our academic expectations” Pg58 #Q4PLCTalk
@TriciaA90@LeoneClark I like how you mentioned more choices that coincide with their interests and abilities. It will make their learning more valuable. #Q4PLCTalk
@LeoneClark A9-my next step is to support the teachers I work with in providing more opportunities for students to have voice and choice. This in turn will make students feel more valued and take more ownership of their learning. #Q4PLCTalk
@bpittman08@LeoneClark I love how you mentioned working together. It’s key that students understand that as a team we can accomplish success. #Q4PLCTalk
@cstrain24@LeoneClark You’re right! Voice and choice guide students towards taking more ownership of their learning. They work holds more value that way. #Q4PLCTalk
@GrashaErin@LeoneClark It is amazing how much we can learn from others if we take the time to reach out/research. So many teachers are always willing to share what has worked in their classrooms. #Q4PLCTalk
@JennahHart1 @LeoneClark You’re right! As teachers we become life long learners. It’s the only way we can make sure our students get what they need. #Q4PLCTalk
@CrystalPilcher@LeoneClark I love how you mentioned application is more important than memorizing. I agree. Students need to understand and apply what they learn. #Q4PLCTalk
@bpittman08@LeoneClark I love how you mentioned that students are in school to learn and grow and that includes from their mistakes. As teachers we need to guide our students to see mistakes as learning experiences. #Q4PLCTalk
@LeoneClark A7-I relate more to Chrissy’s experience. I try to make sure all of my students understand that they may not know something or be successful at something YET, but by working together we will make sure they gain the knowledge and tools needed to be successful. #Q4PLCTalk
@TriciaA90@LeoneClark You are right, Flipgrid gives shy students a chance to express themselves without having to do it in front of others. I also like to use it to get ELL students to practice their English language speaking skills.
