✨ Two new AI features make reporting in Ashby faster and more impactful.
🔍 AI Report Filters lets you build report filters in plain language. Click the sparkle icon in the filter panel, describe what you want, and Ashby generates the filter for you.
You’ll also see example filter suggestions tailored to each reporting subject, giving you a starting point when you’re not sure where to begin. It’s the same AI filtering experience from Candidate Search, now available across every report type in Ashby.
📊 Related Reports helps you keep exploring after an AI Report Interpretation. Once Ashby explains what your report is showing, you’ll see AI-suggested follow-up analyses based on the AI insights.
Click "Create Report" on any suggestion and Ashby builds the next report for you with AI Report Builder, pre-configured with the right fields and filters.
Together, AI Report Filters and Related Reports help teams move from question to insight faster, with less time spent building reports from scratch. Available today for our Plus and Enterprise customers.
📅 New: Reschedule limits for direct booking links
Repeated or last-minute interview reschedules can create challenges for recruiting teams.
You can now set:
🔁A maximum number of times a candidate can reschedule an interview
⏰ A reschedule cutoff window that prevents last-minute changes before an interview starts
When either limit is reached, candidates are directed to contact the interview organizer directly.
Configure these settings in Scheduling Defaults or on any Schedule Template. Available on all plans.
⚙️ New Feature: Configurable consent policies for AI Notetaker
Ashby now supports both opt-out and opt-in recording consent for AI Notetaker, with configurable policy overrides. Teams hiring across multiple regions can apply the right consent policy automatically based on candidate or job criteria, helping meet stricter recording requirements without relying on manual processes.
📍 Set location-based consent rules so opt-in applies only to candidates in specific regions or for certain job conditions
📋 Capture consent directly in application forms, before an interview is scheduled
📅 Collect consent during direct booking and availability requests, allowing AI Notetaker to be added automatically when a candidate opts in
✉️ Add a customizable consent message to calendar invites
To configure consent rules and messages, go to Admin, then AI Notetaker, and Consent Management.
📝 New Feature: Auto-populate DocuSign custom fields with Ashby values
If your team requires mandatory Docusign custom fields on every envelope, Ashby now lets you configure default values for those fields in your Docusign integration settings by mapping an Ashby field or setting a static value that syncs from Docusign.
Those values are automatically included whenever an e-signature request is sent. If a required field doesn't have a default set and hasn't been filled in, the Send E-signature Request button will be blocked with a message letting you know what's needed before you can proceed.
💬 Ashby Assistant now answers product questions about Ashby
Ashby Assistant can now answer questions about both your hiring data and the Ashby product, helping you get answers without breaking your workflow.

Most product questions come up while you're in the middle of getting work done, not while you're browsing help articles. Instead of searching documentation or tracking down a teammate, you can ask Ashby Assistant and get an answer right in the conversation.

✨ You can now expand individual dashboard tiles to fullscreen in Ashby.
Click any report tile to focus on a single chart, table, or metric without leaving your dashboard. Tile actions now appear when hovering over or focusing on the tile, reducing visual clutter and giving dashboards a cleaner default view.

Hiring conversations already happen in Slack. Before, taking action meant switching tools, opening Ashby, and doing the work outside of Slack.
Now you can DM the Ashby app to gather context across your Ashby data, then act directly from the conversation. Every action includes a preview and requires approval before running, so you stay in control.
From the same DM, you can:

We launched AI Talent Rediscovery at Ashby One last week for Plus and Enterprise customers.
Your talent pool is full of strong candidates, but traditional keyword search makes it hard to rediscover them at scale. As soon as you open a new role, Ashby identifies promising candidates already in your database using the hiring criteria you have already defined, with no extra setup required. You can start a rediscovery search from scratch, link it to an existing job, or kick it off from within a job.
Instead of relying on exact keyword matches, AI understands candidate experience in context. It recognizes that someone who “owned full-cycle hiring for engineering roles” may be a strong fit for a Technical Recruiter search, even if that exact title never appears on their resume.

We just announced our new People Workflows add-on, available in early access. People Workflows automatically orchestrates the tasks, handoffs, and communications for new-hire onboarding, making it easier to deliver an excellent experience.
