Happy Father’s Day! No greater honor in my life than being the dad of our four. Carrie had two miscarriages before our first, and we weren't sure if kids were in the cards. But by God’s grace, and after eight pregnancies, we have a full house, and I can't imagine my life without them.
Remembering my dad today, Donald Thomas Cox, October 22, 1946-July 23, 2006. If yours is still around, call him, see him, forgive him—if that's what's needed, tell him you love him.
@Padres Mason Miller sets the Padres consecutive inning scoreless streak. Best pitcher on the planet. Great dub. #ForTheFaithful@AJCassavell with the write up:

Giants manager, Tony Vitello (@tony22vitello_), was kind enough to come over & chat with the boys despite Cam’s Vanderbilt baseball jersey (former Tennessee coach for the casuals out there)! Cam IS a Giants fan, though, & Tony signed for him, & Asher, & offered his help. Pure class.
Big thanks to the @Padres for the BP access today for Camden Clabough and @AsherLegend, classmates at @futures_tc. Cam is one of the top youth pitchers in the US (throws 85, and has a seven pitch mix). Asher is my son and hits bombs. Go Pads!
Brutal. Confidence issue on full display. Trust yourself. Tati didn't swing because he didn't think it was a strike, but he didn't trust himself enough to tap his helmet and challenge the call. Dude is a five-tool, top-five talent when he’s locked in or wearing a DR jersey. We need that guy.
The ‘84 CS at The Murph vs the Cubs was the loudest place I'd ever been (as a nine-year-old) when Garvey took Lee Smith over the right center field wall. It has only been topped by this night at Petco Park on October 15, 2022 when Jacob the Dragon Slayer bested Alex Vesia during our five-run 7th against the 111-win dodger team. Peter’s vision for the team and city was realized; and "One day soon, the baseball gods will smile on the San Diego Padres, and we will have a parade.”
Asher is starting to understand what it means to be a @Padres fan.
We say #FightForTheFaithful next year, over and over until we die. See you in Peoria.
