Right now, Chiefs have developed a losing mentality, and that’s the biggest problem that most fans don’t see!

When a child is failing at school, you fix the problem, you don’t reward it.

Kaizer Chiefs are that child.

Pre-season isn’t about results, yes!

But it’s about structure and patterns of play. Against Elche, we showed neither. No Cruz-Ball can fix a squad that isn’t good enough.

You lose 4–5 players and replace them with one defender. That’s not rebuilding, that’s just clownish behavior🤷🏼‍♂️

Mdu is the better player. The only problem is that he’s not playing in a good team, and that’s a fact.

We saw how Sirino struggled in a struggling Chiefs side. Put Sirino back at Sundowns and you’ll immediately see his quality again.

The reality is that most players would struggle at Chiefs in the current setup. Yet youngsters like Mdu and Vilakazi are still showing just how talented they are.

Look at players like Velebayi and Baartman. Put them in a team like Sundowns, where there’s cohesion, clear structures, and established playing patterns, and they’d thrive.

Chiefs need to invest more in DDC graduates because, if we’re honest, we’re not winning the league anytime soon.

Rather commit to a proper rebuild. Lower expectations, trust the young players, and surround them with five experienced, high-quality leaders to raise the standard. Give that project three years, and Chiefs could genuinely become a top side again.
