@thatnrselife What I use on my kids’ bad rashes is the calazime cream that we use on patients, the orange stuff from Medline - not sure if you have access to that or not. For patients with bad rashes, we’ll mix the calazime, lotrimin, and desitin together
@bad_KATtitude_ I did until it came down to actually thinking about marriage with my husband and all I wanted was to go to the courthouse and have a party after to celebrate
@fisherco @orneryscientist I agree. And I also agree that it does make delirium worse in some patients, usually I tell the telesitter not to talk to those patients and to just call me
@adamTHX1138 @MoniqueBLabarre @DocDifferently Farm work is definitely more physically exertional (my dad and grandpa are farmers) but you’d want the pediatrician’s so called “skills” when your kid is having an emergency.
@NurseKem @PlantMamaRN And my patient right now is wondering why I’m not concerned about his platelets of 76. Sir that is nothing, you also just had chemo 4 days ago
@NurseKem@RNSuperHero Our director has been having our new night shifters for this as well and it drives me crazy. I can see maybe starting a couple weeks on days to see all of the different departments, but then finish on nights. They struggled to get back in to a night routine
Hospital: no more crisis pay since COVID numbers are down
Nurses: ok we aren’t picking up any more shifts it’s not our fault you drove off scores of staff
Hospitals:we are instituting mandatory overtime instead
