@NowakRo This is so important because too often do students struggle with reading comprehension in subjects such as mathematics. Word problems are often one of students biggest struggles because they lack this foundational literacy understanding.

@NowakRo Also, we should allow students to have a voice in what they want to read. This can allow us to break personal barriers we may not even realize we have.

@fprovencher27 @NowakRo This is especially important for children. Kids need to be able to read diverse books featuring all kinds of people. This also promotes inclusivity.
