@SarahPerry9 Yes! Libraries--and librarians--are some of our very best resources! #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

@salaylay_c diverse books are SO important to us, and I've loved working on your multicultural titles! #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

RT @traceymcox: I like to see a diversity in what they publish. That they take heart in the stories & believe in them. #mgauthorchallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

It's time for our last question! What's your best advice on how to instill a love of reading and writing in our kids? #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

@HerStory2 We value all those things in our authors, too! #MGAuthorChallenge

[Romellē G @HerStory2]

@AshleytheEditor Reputation, efficiency, communication, openness, accessibility. @meegenius has it all. #MGAuthorChallenge

[Minnnie Sands @mistysanico]

Book apps are ideal for forming early reading habits like reading often & on diverse subjects. I love the MG selection #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

So once you've readied your ms and are ready to put it on the school bus, what qualities do you look for in a publisher? #MGAuthorChallenge

[Romellē G @HerStory2]

@AshleytheEditor Write with a child-like heart and send your best work. #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

@GregoryGAllen What do you listen to? Other than Carly Simon! ;) #MGAuthorChallenge

[Kelly Polark @kellypolark]

Like with any submission, have other writers critique it, revise, revise, revise, and submit when it is shiny & polished! #MGauthorchallenge

[@bluesandpiper @bluesandpiper]

Writing for kids has been a hobby for a long time. I'm a mom of a reluctant reader & book apps have been a game changer #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

OK guys, here's the big one. What advice do you have for other aspiring #kidlit authors or anyone who wants to enter our #MGAuthorChallenge?

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

As for me, my favorite part is when a book is polished, finished, and ready to be released into the wild! #MGAuthorChallenge

[Ashley Fedor @AshleytheEditor]

@GregoryGAllen now I will have Carly Simon stuck in my head for the rest of the night! ;)
