I was raised by a new age hippy mother and no father. A specific religion is not something I was raised in. It took a couple of decades of research and open-mindedness, reading the various philosophies and religions, to determine that Biblical Christianity had both the highest moral clarity and the most realistic explanation. Faith came second.

What is the source material that proves apostolic succession back to Peter? It is not in the Bible itself. Also, those verses don't point to the Roman Catholic church on their own; they point to the Body of Christ, which is His church, which is being built upon the apostles who spread out into many areas of the world, not just to Rome.

There is a section of Romans which teaches against exactly the behaviour you are describing. Mainly the second half of Romans chapter 3. When I used the descriptor learned Bible believing Christians that can just as easily include Roman Catholics and other Orthodox Christians what I would caution all belivers against is having faith in an insitution or tradition for salvation intead of haveing faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

That's if they actually do it. I have Gen Z younger relatives with children who use tablets and YouTube, much like Boomers used the TV to babysit their children. Obviously, there are exceptions, not everyone one but my anecdotal experience is that they are going to be raised by brain rot.

It's because, depending on the theology of the denomination that they are learning in, they have been taught that Christ will not come until the world is God's kingdom, and that to create the kingdom of Heaven, they need to build the kingdom of God. While I was not taught this, I have heard that there are certain denominations that do.
