@thesakshishukla@K10Jain 1) The lovely memories with my father lead me to cover my daughter's books decades later. And it felt great. 2) The skill helped me wrap several birthday gifts, inspiring my daughter to learn the skill too!π3) I think it does help the book covers to be a little more durable.
@thesakshishukla@tiny_pen@vinodchendhil It's the 'instant reject' bit that reeksof patriarchy. If he had said, 'Meeting spouses is not in our policy prior to your joining us; maybe at an informal gathering,' she would have got the message loud and clear. Then if she seemed indecisive you had solid ground to reject.
So rare to come across such vulnerability intense emotions. So cathartic. In a world where most people walk around like zombies, some feel too much. Then if the person who you share a whole lot of those burdensome feelings with, leaves, the pain must be unbearable. :( So sorry.
@ReelReptile Not if the best friend meant a lot more to you than your parents and was better than a partner could ever be- which I guess he was. So sorry for your loss. Can't imagine the void. Hope you feel hopeful soon.
@ReelReptile "For someone who has an all-or-nothing approach to all sorts of relationships β for someone who is constantly caught in a cycle of expectation, disappointment & dwindling friendships". - This is me!! Please be kind to yourself & speak to a professional to process the pain better.
@Paromitabardolo Hmmm very creative. Agree with you on the Bauji and Dad track. Don't agree tho that Raj would have made a mature and progressive husband. He was charming, entitled and irresponsible. So IMO Simran would have either been a disappointed wife or would have divorced him long back.
@The_Karishma Sorry you had to deal with this. It must feel incredibly invalidating and frustrating to hear advice from people who 'cure themselves' or share anecdotal tales of magical recoveries. I don't have lupus & can never understand what you go through. But I do wish you strong support.
It's almost as though the nation collectively wanted SRK and Pathaan to do well. So heartening!
Those who have met him and those who were charmed by his interviews - love him equally. He is talented, no doubt. But people are/ were rooting for SRK- the person. #KindnessMatters
Can't begin to tell you how excited I was about watching Pathaan at 10am.
Can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed it.
Can't begin to tell you how there will never be another Shah Rukh Khan. π
