@Fintech03 Its not something new or special. There exists indic tokenizers already which do this. And it is a logical and straightforward thing to do. Sarvam did it for Indian languages. Openai and Deepskeek didnt bother.

@ZagZino @tarunsmehta Hf downloads is a good metric. It shows how many ppl have tried playing with it or are actually using it in their workflows. Everytime u use it in colab, it gets downloaded again. It shows if there is wide spread adoption or not.

@tarunsmehta The thing is they need to be backed by results. They should have released a paper which shows how it performs compared to other models and benchmarks. Just releasing a model doesnt make it something to be proud of. If it doesnt perform good, indeginious or not, nobody will use it
