Founder @aiagencyplus · Built @voiceaiportal - White-Label Voice AI Portal for Agencies using Retell · Vapi · ElevenLabs Agents · Cut client onboarding by 80%
10 years in IT infrastructure teaches you one thing: demos lie, production tells the truth.
When I moved into AI automation, most agencies had only ever done the first part. They'd demoed it. They hadn't maintained it at 2am when something broke in a live client environment.
So I built AI Agency Plus around the opposite principle. Ship things that hold up. Fix them when they don't. Tell the client what actually happened.
Then I hit the wall every AI agency founder hits - Retell, VAPI, and ElevenLabs across three separate dashboards, no unified view, and a manual spreadsheet I was rebuilding before every client review just to prove what the agent had saved them.
Built a prototype to fix it one weekend. Other agency founders wanted it too.
That prototype is now Voice AI Portal. White-label. Built-in ROI calculator that shows clients $32k–$45k in annual savings automatically. Backed by Google for Startups.
This account is where I post what actually happens when you build voice AI and automation for real clients. The numbers. The failures. The calls that went badly, and the ones that didn't.

@guzmi2005 I totally get the encouragement vibe, but sometimes it feels like small steps can lead us in circles. What if we focused more on meaningful steps instead?
@ManDoesCode1 This feels like a playful take on identity and environment. But I wonder if we sometimes hide behind codes like Rot13 to avoid real conversations. What do you think?
@SHORTLY__NEWS@SarvamAI@nvidia@SoftBank@prosus@a16z It's wild to see big names like SoftBank and a16z passing on AI deals. Makes you wonder if they're missing out on something big, or just playing it safe. What do you think?
@Swickdinging Congrats on the growth! But are those follows genuinely engaged? Sometimes numbers can be misleading. Quality interactions matter more than just hitting a milestone, right?
@samuel_ekunyan I think it's crazy how many leads slip through cracks just because of a simple delay. A fast response isn’t just nice; it’s a game of survival now. How do we really balance speed and quality?
@HyScaler I totally agree. Too many focus on the shiny MVP but forget ongoing costs—support, maintenance, and updates add up fast. How do we balance innovation with sustainable growth?
@Hunterz008@X Love the diverse interests here! Markets and geopolitics often intersect in unexpected ways. Have you seen how cricket is being affected by global trade dynamics lately?
@RileyLuup Nice work on the follows! Engaging with founders can really spark fresh ideas. But connecting is a two, way street—what are you offering in these conversations?
@luminous_ky_1 That’s super cool! But I wonder if the feedback summary really captured the full experience. Sometimes, those ratings miss the nuances of what people really felt. What do you think?
@elzyata2003 I love the encouragement here! But it's more than just a spark. It's about finding ways to keep that fire burning through challenges. What keeps your spark alive?
Everyone building voice AI is chasing the wrong thing.
"We want it to sound more human."
I hear this constantly. Said it myself. It's the wrong goal.
Human isn't the bar. Trustworthy is the bar.
A voice that sounds perfectly human but gives wrong information is worse than useless. A voice that sounds slightly synthetic but knows exactly what it's doing, stays calm, never makes things up, handles confusion without panicking, builds more trust than most humans I've spoken to on a support line.
Stop chasing human.
Chase competent. Chase calm. Chase honest.
That's what people actually want when they pick up the phone.
@GooseAIWingMan That's impressive! But I wonder about the long, term reliability. What happens when something goes wrong? A silent wingman could be a double, edged sword.
@ankittharol I love seeing what everyone’s up to! I'm working on an AI tool that helps streamline workflows. It's crazy how much potential there is in this space. What about you?
@wixexperttaiwo Sounds like an exciting opportunity! But it feels like the focus is only on the money and titles. What about the real challenges in supporting AI startups?
@WinkrLive That's amazing! It's wild how a side project can turn into something essential. Makes you wonder how many other ideas are waiting to be discovered. What sparked the transition for you?
@ArbaaSaddam@X Seems like a solid list of interests, but what about the conversations around ethics in AI? We need to talk about the impact of these technologies too. What do you think?
Most agencies charge for the build.
One fee. Project delivered. Client runs it. Something goes wrong six weeks later. Client emails. The agency is already onto the next thing.
The real value isn't the build. It's knowing why it's broken at 11pm on a Friday and being able to fix it before Monday morning.
The agencies doing well on retainer are the ones who realised voice AI isn't a project. It's infrastructure. And nobody wants to own infrastructure without someone on the other end of the phone.
@petertr99@X Connecting with builders is great, but we should also think about collaboration beyond skills. Sharing experiences, challenges, and failures can spark innovation. What do you think?
@aitoolscapital It's wild how quickly ideas can transform into action. Every week feels fresh and full of potential. What do you think the biggest challenge will be for these founders?
The $20 plan isn't the problem.
9 bad habits are.
Fix these first.
Upgrade only if you still need to.
Save this - you'll come back to it.

You just hit Claude's limit. Again.
Now you're thinking about upgrading to $100/month.
Don't.
Here are 9 fixes that make the $20 plan more than enough.
You're not running out of Claude.
You're running it wrong.
