In times of destruction, people lose their sense of judgment. And when the end draws near, they won’t even find a straw to hold on to for help.

Disregarding rules and regulations, that money was siphoned off by TMC leaders, influential persons, and their close associates during floods at Malda. Even nine years after the floods, many people are still homeless. By showing damage to 1,609 pucca houses, around ₹7.5 crore was fraudulently paid out. However, according to the District Magistrate’s report, no pucca houses were damaged in the floods.

The report further states that for damage to the same house, 6,965 people were paid compensation between 2 and 42 times, all into the same bank account. In Harishchandrapur-2 block, a single person received compensation 42 times. Yet, without even physically verifying whether any house was actually damaged, ₹7.29 crore was disbursed.

That entire ₹100 crore loot has gone straight into the pockets of TMC. Before the elections, this money will be pulled out from the pockets of individual TMC leaders.

Across the state, under the guise of helping people in distress, TMC has repeatedly indulged in corruption with full support from Mamata Banerjee.

No Chor will be spared. And the queen of this nexus will soon pay for all her sins!
