Addressing the Hon’ble Court, Smt. @mamataofficial placed real-life cases on record, backed by reports from leading newspapers. Clarifying, she stated: “These are not my photographs. These are from reputed newspapers.”

She explained that the SIR is being used almost entirely as a deletion exercise. Women who changed surnames after marriage, people who shifted homes, and poor families buying small flats are seeing their names removed without due process, later justified under vague labels like “logical discrepancy” or “incorrect mapping,” in clear violation of court directions.

Welcoming the Court’s order to accept Aadhaar as valid proof, she questioned why Bengal alone was denied documents accepted elsewhere, such as domicile or caste certificates. “Why was Bengal singled out on the eve of elections?” she asked.

She also flagged the urgency imposed after 24 years, rushed through in three months, during harvest season and peak migration, and placed on record the human cost: over 100 deaths, BLO fatalities, and widespread hospitalisation.

“If this was genuine reform,” she asked, “why not Assam? Why only Bengal?”

These young warriors are Bengal’s digital barricade. For the next 100 days, they must give it their all, operating with clinical efficiency, dedication, and consistency. Set tangible 5-day targets, track progress rigorously, and follow through with determination. When public representatives, booth-level workers, and these Digital Joddhas work in seamless coordination there is no mountain too high, no propaganda too strong.

I am deeply shocked and anguished to learn of the tragic explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort, which has reportedly claimed several lives and left many others injured. My heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved families and my prayers are with those recovering from their injuries.

It is extremely distressing that such an incident has taken place in the heart of our National Capital. The Delhi Police, which is directly under the Union Home Ministry, bears the primary responsibility for maintaining law and order. How, then are such grave lapses in security being allowed to occur?

Only yesterday morning, nearly 350 kg of explosives and an assault rifle were recovered from Faridabad in Haryana. Viewed together, these incidents raise alarming questions about internal security and the evident decline in vigilance.

An impartial, time-bound investigation must be conducted by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), under court supervision if necessary, to uncover the truth and ensure that those responsible are held fully accountable.

Beginning 1st December 2025, Sebaashray will once again open its doors to the people of Diamond Harbour, continuing till 22nd January 2026, culminating in a Mega Camp from 24th to 30th January 2026. I am delighted to announce that ‘Bengal model’ to fight Type I diabetes - has become a global model to emulate.

Recently, Harvard Medical School Associate Professor Gene Bukhman, considered as an authority on non-communicable diseases, has visited our SSKM Hospital and appreciated the initiative as it is a first-of-its-kind State-piloted programme in the country.

I congratulate all those associated with the initiative.
