On this day in 1955, Claudette Colvin,15, was arrested for refusing to give her seat to a white woman on a public bus in Montgomery, Alabama.
She was arrested 9months before Rosa Parks, but NAACP didn't want her to represent their organization because she was 15 and pregnant.
