One of our goals is to spread awareness of our amazing and endangered wild black cockatoos, and this includes school visits - thanks for having us @Holy_Cross_Coll!
Behind the scenes at a black cockatoo release! Our amazing volunteer photographer Celine Dubois recently followed a rehab bird release to show how it’s done. https://t.co/4Ca2Y6E5vW
Cockatoo wail, fledge or fail. A great podcast on the interesting research being done by @daniteixeira___ on the calls of the South-eastern Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo. https://t.co/5hkWxauaRX
Earlier this year, Dr Harry Cooper of @BHGAus visited Kaarakin, and we saw the result last night. Check out our interactive aviary and clinic, as well as our 50m purpose-built "lap pool" rehab flight aviary. https://t.co/ztEp8Po8nT
@brucerollerson Yes it’s confusing! We get many school and tour groups visiting but unfortunately don’t have the resources to be open for drop-in visitors every day.
