In incoherent Planet GSLP:
1. You can FAIL to manage #conflicts of interest with Hassans mentor which;
2. lead to Openshaw recommending there should be a #conflicts of interests law &;
3. it’s OK if the law to control #conflicts of interest is THEN drafted by someone with a longstanding professional relationship with Hassans & the GSLP Government.
Only in Planet GSLP is this normal. A world where all Ministers condone grossly improper attempts to interfere in a criminal investigation & they get you to pay for the expensive legal challenge against inconvenient truth. None of that is taking Gibraltar to the gutter…In Planet GSLP we are the ones doing so for calling all this out
Great news that @JoelleLadislaus has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Overseas Territories Women Parliamentarians Network. Flying the flag for 🇬🇮 on these important issues @votegsd
@tonyevans88 According to ESG in 2023, 90% of Gibraltar's greenhouse gas emissions are from the bunkering industry & sale of fossil fuels.
Certain businesses and individuals are millionaires due to their ability to pollute Gibraltar
If you're going to tackle the problem, tackle the problem.

The man in the Porsche who brought you the Car Levy & the GSLP who got YOU (the taxpayer) to pay for his expensive private legal challenge against Openshaw findings say that the GSLP defend the working classes. Are there no boundaries to GSLP fantasyland politics? As the son of a Dockyard worker who was a lifelong member of the TGWU I reject the GSLP’s fake ideological fear-mongering in their desperate fight for political survival
I don’t smoke. Never have. I have no skin in the game. But this really is draconian. It should not be within the power of the government to interfere with the personal choices of citizens like this.
It’s concerning that Gemma Arias Vasquez should persist with FAKE sexist outrage. As my post of 9 April shows I described the photo-opps (not her) as window dressing smokescreens from her FAILURES. She should focus on fixing policy failures & not LIES. She doesn’t represent CHANGE. Now she brings up her other twist which she also knows is a LIE. It cannot be put better than Joelle Ladislaus & Atrish Sanchez did at the time. Exposing fakery
Gemma Arias-Vasquez isn’t window-dressing & I’ve never said she is but some THINGS done by her & other Ministers (male or female) are window-dressing to cover up policy failures. It’s right to call them out as they are. Maybe she needs to live by the lecture she once gave Marlene Hassan-Nahon instead of deflecting from her failures with nonsense just because she doesn’t like her U-Turns & lack of consultation being exposed by a GSD video.
At next GSD AGM on 4 June I’ll be asking Members to support a Motion conferring Life Membership of the Executive to Danny Feetham for his outstanding contribution to the GSD over last 20yrs as former Leader, Minister & senior figure continuing to play big advisory role on issues
Many individuals are ready to leave Ocean Views but remain stuck due to inadequate housing and unavailable care packages.
Atrish Sanchez MP speaks about how we urgently need proper assisted living and strong community support 👇🏼
The brilliant young people in GSD Future have a straight line to me & MPs or the Executive to influence policy ideas & thinking. They aren’t just the future; they’re very much the present. The new generations to take 🇬🇮 forward in future. The eloquent Matvey Celecia 👉@GSDFuture
Mrs Arias Vasquez ought to stop playing politics and address the substantive challenges facing businesses.
This lack of readiness has created uncertainty and avoidable disruption across multiple sectors.

Was great to see Gib last night so busy with young people making the best of the Maundy Thursday initiatives by the hospitality trades. Casemates and Ocean Village were buzzing. This is what Gibraltar should look like every Friday/Sat night not the ghost town it currently is.
Have given notice this afternoon of amendments to the EU-UK Agreement Motion in Parliament to ensure that we condition any ratification on the right of the people of Gibraltar to terminate if things go wrong & ability of the 🇬🇮Govt to exercise all relevant UK powers in Agreement
Close to 250 people from across Gibraltar’s community have gathered this evening for the annual Public Iftar, organised by Muslim Youth.
Money raised will support families affected by flooding in northern Morocco through the Asilah–Salsa Morocco Appeal.
