@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp@AirbnbEng Your system is automatically changing host location and then automatically denies host not even allowing the City to see the listing. Ex -E is being changed to East which does not match the permit so the host is being denied. Are you fixing this?
@AirbnbHelp still not solved and no accountability taken from either @cityoftoronto or @AirbnbHelp@AirbnbEng@Airbnb It is unfortunate that you treat legal permit holders with such disregard. Thanks for being incompetent.
@AirbnbHelp Why does it take 8 weeks to resolve a simple issue? You are not building a loyal following with hosts when you cannot solve their challenges in a timely manner. #poorcustomerservice
@AirbnbHelp yes... i have asked support many times why the city cannot view my listing and I get the same response. The City has unlisted my property for being unregulated BUT the city has confirmed via email that I am in good standing... so why can't the city view my listing to approve it?
@AirbnbHelp Soooo... @airbnb even thought you have unlisted my property because you claim @cityoftoronto has said I am an unregulated operator your customer service reps have advised me not to cancel and upcoming guests.... does this make sense? @AirbnbHelp@CityNewsTO
@AirbnbHelp You do not demonstrate a willingness to help - only to cause frustration. I have provided emails from the city. The city had indicated they cannot see my listing. You say the city has to approve the listing but how can they approve it if they cannot see it?????
@cityofToronto@Airbnb I used to believe there was a solution for every problem but not when it comes to your organizations or processes… unless you are both stonewalling people that have legal short term rental permits... @CityNewsTO
I love it when @AirbnbHelp contacts me like this a brand new issue and I haven't been trying to get this resolved for 13 weeks... we always start at step number 1 again... and there is not mention of error - only that it is @cityoftoronto fault... @AirbnbEng@Airbnb @Airbnbdesign
@Airbnb – @cityoftoronto has indicated many times via email that I do have a permit for Short Term Rentals… I have sent you the info and asked you to confirm your data feed is correct – and you have not responded… for the love of god… just be honest if you have an issue.
What is the problem??? @cityoftoronto@Airbnb
You need to get this process fixed because it SUCKS!!!
I am tired of the two organizations pointing the figure at each other.
This is ridiculous.
@AirbnbHelp@AirbnbHelp do you recognize the importance of addressing this manner - because I am on 13 weeks and still waiting. Are @Airbnb and @cityoftoronto purposely blocking homeowners that have legal permits for short term rentals??? Is that what is going on? Seems like it.
@AskJanetLewis Hi Janet, we've just responded to your recent DM. Please feel free to follow up with us there whenever suits, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Thanks. https://t.co/WCQEFGIlXC
@mediatemple I think your chat bot is broken... I have been waiting over 45 minutes to be transferred to someone to help with a grid question... is anyone working today? #firethebot
@AirbnbHelp Unfortunately it does not seem like this issue can be resolved and I have lost trust in who is telling the truth - @Airbnb or @cityoftoronto
@skystracloud Thanks! I am going to look for a webhosting company in Canada. The Canadian dollar has tanked and makes it so expensive to get something from US or another country.
@socialdesigner @novamindhost @mediatemple 100% I just recently had pages go missing with my website BUT you know it has NOTHING to do with the migration... AND I never had this issue with @mediatemple
@ImaginisDesign@AirbnbHelp@Airbnb@cityoftoronto@AirbnbEng@ombudsmanTO@TorontoStar Great example of lack of transparency & horrible customer service. If both organizations would just fess up it would be easier for people to understand and not get so frustrated about it. I haven't been unlisted for almost three months now... & am stuck in enied pending status
@airbnb what is happening in @cityoftoronto? Why have people's listings been taken down when they have a legal permit to operate? I am in a never ending loop the @cityofToronto apparently can't approve it because they can't see it but are also rejecting it??? #somethingsmellsbad
