@beartrapbitch My advice is to ditch running for a year or two. Really. Running can & should be a lifelong pursuit. If you're burned out in your *teens* because you were racing half-marathons in junior high... your mind and body need a hard reset. Take a good long break. Then ease back in.
@j_kitchell Don't overthink it! First, be sure to recover fully from your, uh, full. Then simply find a half training plan for your May race and follow the plan. (Also: Congrats on your first marathon!)
@IanM573 You should follow whichever method feels right to you. But personally? I'd urge you not to sweat it, regardless. It really doesn't make a big difference either way. What matters is logging the miles. Good luck.
