He disrupted a women's health event by setting off the fire alarm but the police let him off because he said it was a 'protest'.
This is Brighton where if you are trans you really CAN do 'whatever you like, all the time'.

Thank you. This is lovely @HadleyFreeman. A huge team got this over the line but it was indeed incredibly lonely and scary when I took my first steps into meeting rooms and media and said NO. They’d simply never heard it before.
Amanda Hack. @Hack4Labour You are my new MP. I support the concept of assisted dying but this legislative scrutiny is abysmal. You will be asked to vote on a bad bill. Are you aware of the concerns set out in this Times article?

HURRAH after almost two years of trying to get a guarantee from my local health authority to have a WOMAN conduct my mammogram the 'patient liason officer' has finally contacted me to say YES, BUT and this is a BIG BUT.
IT'S ONLY allowed because I have revealed that I'm a
Great thread by @nmdacosta. Watching bad lawmaking in real time sends shivers down my spine. I used to wonder how other bad laws such as the GRA2004 ever made it through. Now it’s clear. These MPs don’t care about good law. They just want any law.
What have we learned after two days of Assisted Dying Committee evidence?
1. Lack of access to palliative care is a major barrier to assisted dying being a genuine choice.
Framing the issue of assisted dying as compassion and humanity v cruelty/lack of humanity is wrong. We need a respectful debate that acknowledges the serious safeguarding risks as well as the acknowledged benefits of legislative reform in this area.
As I wrote for the Observer a couple of weeks ago, this makes me very uncomfortable. The PM saying he's pleased to be making good on a personal promise to a high-profile campaigner is not in the spirit of a free vote. He wants it to happen, and a lot of new MPs know that.
‘A Paralympian requested a ramp outside her house and she was offered the drugs to end her life.’
@Tanni_GT discusses the upcoming vote on assisted dying with @IainDale, warning against Canada’s legislation as an example, where policy was ‘rapidly’ expanded on.
Why should Esther Rantzen have more of a voice than any other member of the public?
Since when did we need to follow the will of highly paid members of the establishment media class?
The reason the assisted dying bill will unfortunately pass: on one side there are emotive personal stories, mainlining straight into the #bekind brain; and on the other there are cold hypotheticals about possible victims, very likely to come true but with no clout at the moment
@FondOfBeetles The fire service is aiming to recruit more female fire-fighters (I’m one of them). The physical fitness tests are the same for all. Most men can pass but only the fittest women get through. Sex differences are obvious but can be useful when deployed correctly. I fit small gaps.
In my constituency only 2 candidates said they’d support the sex-based rights of women and girls. I’ll be voting based on that.

Lots of updates in the past few weeks..
“Biological women take priority”
That’s what I’ve been waiting to hear from a politician. I’ll now be voting @Conservatives on Thursday because of what @mariacaulfield just said. 👇
“Let’s take a workplace changing room.
A transwoman wants to use the female facilities, a biological woman objects...
What should the manager do?”
@BBCNuala asks @mariacaulfield this morning on @BBCWomansHour.
@NoShirleyNo@fairplaywomen@slipkn0t8 I won’t give my vote to any politician who doesnt stand up for the sex-based rights of women, LGB and children.
Well done @DerryBanShee and best wishes for a glittering future at @SexMattersOrg. I’m looking forward to us collaborating on projects and making a difference 💪.
Thank you for being a loyal friend and a hard-working and enthusiastic colleague. Loads of love, Nic xx.
