In the distant future, the Government controlled everything....including oxygen. After charging humanity for the right to breathe, 98% of the world died.

The survivors formed O₂ RISING, a resistance that fought back and destroyed the regime. But once the Government fell, the rebellion fractured into 3 factions over one question: What should humanity's future become next?

Neon Underground: chose freedom at any cost.
Dark White: chose order and control.
Synth Ascendancy: chose evolution beyond humanity.
Their disagreement became a war for the last breathable future on Earth. One faction finally won.

Then...the Government’s final failsafe activated:
CHRONOS PROTOCOL.

Time reset to just before the war, resurrecting the dead and forcing every faction to fight again. Memories wiped. Sent to another dimension.

Every victory triggers another reset.
Every loop fractures reality further.
New dimensions will emerge.
The battle won't end the same way every time.

@OldTownJB As a TCG creator, I would never purposefully create bad quality cards to appease rarity collectors. The cards are meant to play with and collect because you genuinely like them and the game. Not because you want to flip a $5 pack into $500 if you’re lucky.

The first player tried out ASPHYXIA and gave me their honest feedback on it:
"It was legitimately fun. I won 6 out of 8 games. Synth Ascendency is the faction I chose. It's a fighting game in card sleeves. Every turn is a real decision and the suffocation "clock" gives it an identity none of the big TCGs can claim. Suffocation based win-con with zero deckout means every game ends in actual violence. The three factions genuinely play different with turns so packed with decisions that I never once had a non-turn in 8 games and never had a dull match. Easier to learn than Pokémon or MTG, deeper than it has any right to be at just 45 total cards for now, and free in your browser with games fast enough to run one back immediately."

We are currently working on a viable Roadmap to take ASPHYXIA from a Playable Demo > Physical TCG > NFT collection with RWA’s.

1st edition NFTs would allow for early digital game access before it goes public such as additional expansions, etc. so there’s a Utility for them.

ASPHYXIA is really starting to feel very impactful during gameplay! It's so much fun. Since creating this game, I haven't played much Pokemon, MTG, Azuki, or Riftbound LOL check this out
