@BBCr4today Until I heard Starmer yesterday, I hadn’t understood that the change to the Winter fuel test was that it would be means tested, not scrapped. Journalists need to be clearer. Also, 1.2billion is 5% of the shortfall which is NOT pocket change.
Really saddened to hear about Sir David Goldberg’s death earlier today. A giant of psychiatry has gone. His legacy in primary care psychiatry and social psychiatry will live forever. My thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP David, will miss you.🙏🏼
@adamhillscomedy whatever happened to the 2012 show Adam Hills Stands Up? It was comedy gold and was available on 4OD for ages but now it’s vanished. I’d happily pay to see that show again. https://t.co/uoLsz10CXI
Guidelines on managing ash dieback on woodland SSSIs and ancient woodland was updated today. Thanks to many people for sharing helpful advice. https://t.co/vv1MJt0M2o
OUTSTANDING SPEECH
Mhairi Black delivered the most honest critique about this Tory government, in the last 12 years
She covers everything.
It will leave you speechless
This will definitely go down in history.

*Great* news: Wistman's Wood, possibly the most iconic fragment of ancient rainforest in the UK, is set to double in size.
Most important, this will be done not by planting, but by excluding livestock, allowing the wild trees etc. to spread out naturally.

@prospect_NE@ProspectUnion I’m so happy that we were able to resume discussion and not strike yesterday- I got to visit this cracking site #Haweswater at work. Wore my t-shirt in solidarity for ongoing negotiations.
@SussexRuralCops @wealdendistrict I wish you would identify the source of loud music blasting across #Ashdown_Forest at #Chelwoodgate. Not the sounds of nature I was expecting 🤬Second night running.
