Shri Bhattacharya also informed that after launch of PMUY in the NE on 13.05.17, the nos. of connections doubled from 40 lakhs to 81 lakhs. 29 lakh new connections were issued under PMUY. Under ePMUY2, all remaining sections of society will be covered under PMUY.
