In Tigray, where fuel is sold informally on the streets due to siege-like conditions, petrol costs $9.77 per gallon.
In Cuba, a country internationally reported to be experiencing acute fuel shortages, petrol costs $4.90 per gallon.
Tigray's price is almost double that of Cuba

Two years ago, I was in Shire for the Holy Trinity Religious holiday. When Debretsion and Getachew arrived at the church, the security personnel attempted to clear the way for their vehicles, accompanied by patrols armed with machine guns. Believers showed their disdain 1/n

@AssefaSamrawit misplaced a painting depicting the horrors of the Tigray War and the massive use of sexual assault as weapon of war.

The painting is of immense value to her and many survivors of the war.

Close to 120k women suffered sexual violence in Tigray.

Locating and returning this painting to her will be a great act of humanity.
