@Karinganire_Has@CnddFdd@GeneralNeva@R_Ndikuriyo@Edbiziman Frightening citizens by telling them that a neighboring country is about to attack them is a form of using fear for political purposes. Peace is built through dialogue, cooperation, and truth—not hatred.
@Karinganire_Has@CnddFdd@GeneralNeva@R_Ndikuriyo@Edbiziman A politics built on frightening citizens and sowing hatred between countries cannot produce lasting peace. Burundians and Rwandans deserve to live together in peace, rather than being taught to hate one another.

CNDD-FDD and FDLR are conducting a campaign leading up to the elections in Burundi, aimed at winning back the trust of Burundians and making them forget the atrocities that CNDD-FDD and FDLR are committing against them, including burning markets and houses that provide livelihoods for many Burundians. In this campaign, they are spreading fear among Burundians by telling them that Rwanda is about to attack them, and that if it were not for CNDD-FDD and FDLR, Rwanda would have already launched attacks against them.
In short, the CNDD-FDD and FDLR campaign is about planting hatred among Burundians against Rwanda. No Burundian is supposedly allowed to speak with a Rwandan; anyone they catch doing so will be killed.
If this hatred continues to be taught to Burundians, will it not eventually come back to haunt the leaders of Burundi?
What I would tell CNDD-FDD and FDLR is this: when you plant hatred, it will eventually come back to destroy you
@Karinganire_Has@BurundiGov Market destructions from Nyanza-Lac 2011 to Kinindo 2026 under your watch are human rights violations. Ensure security for commercial spaces.
Patriotism is a principle we strongly uphold. This is the motto that the @RwandaYouthVol1 have committed themselves to putting first.
That is why the @CityofKigali continues to welcome senior leaders of the Youth Volunteers, who have begun a field visit by @RwandaLocalGov and the @Rwandapolice. After visiting Kicukiro District the previous day, the team today continued to Gasabo District, where we met with the DG @KubanaRichard , the CSP @JackyUrujeni , the District Police Commander, Station Officers in Charge, Sector Executive Secretaries, as well as district and sector committees down to the cell level.
The DG addressed us on degeneration.
The purpose of this field visit is “Engaging Youth Volunteers for Community Safety.”During this visit, Youth Volunteers are once again reminded of their responsibilities, including:
✅️Fighting crime and preventing drug abuse, as well as providing timely information.
✅️Fighting malnutrition and stunting.
Continuing to promote the well-being and welfare of the population.
In his message to the Youth Volunteers who attended the meeting, the DG reminded them that they must be role models—people who do the right thing and whom others can look up to—and avoid falling into various forms of crime. He urged them to continue demonstrating the values of good conduct, integrity, and honesty in everything they do. @RNPSpokesperson
President Evariste Ndayishimiye and his party, CNDD-FDD, through its Secretary- Col Reverien Ndikuriyo, continue to make misleading political statements accusing Rwanda of failing to honor its commitments, yet Rwanda has never made any commitments to the Burundian government.
Ndayishimiye’s behavior is intended to distract people from the real issue of his continued collaboration with the FDLR, a group responsible for the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, which has been sanctioned by the United Nations and the United States and is determined to destabilize Rwanda’s security. Burundi has now become a hub for the FDLR and other extremists, to the extent that they are provided with everything, including training camps and centers where young men and women are gathered. The FDLR brings people from refugee camps in southern African countries, and those who have completed training cross together with Burundian soldiers to go and fight in the DRC. The main plan is to attack Rwanda.
After the burning of Galerie Ndayizamba, today the market in Kinyindo, Bujumbura, was also burned.
There is a long-term plan by CNDD-FDD to impoverish Burundians, mainly because the population has become tired of the poor governance of CNDD-FDD and wants that government to change. CNDD-FDD has adopted a plan to burn all the markets, especially because they are where many Tutsis do business, and every Tutsi in Burundi is considered by CNDD-FDD as an enemy of Burundi, while those who trade in these markets are considered as people who contribute to those fighting against the government. Another thing is that Angelina Ndayishimiye has now completed a gallery where the traders who used to operate in Galerie Ndayizamba are supposed to relocate. Here is the full list of markets that CNDD-FDD has burned:

Belgium Urged to Move Beyond Regret and Pay Reparations for Colonial Crimes
BAKU — More than six decades after Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Burundi gained independence, the consequences of Belgian colonial rule continue to be felt in their history, politics, and societies. Calls are now growing for Brussels to move beyond expressions of regret and take concrete responsibility by paying reparations for abuses committed during the colonial era.
On August 21, 2026, the international NGO Baku Initiative Group (BIG) organized a conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, focusing on Belgium’s colonial legacy and possible pathways toward reparations.
The meeting brought together United Nations experts, government representatives, and civil society members from Rwanda, the DRC, and Burundi. It was chaired by BIG Executive Secretary Abbas Abbasov.
Participants argued that the time has come for Belgium to fully confront its historical record in Central Africa. Among the key demands were a formal acknowledgment of abuses committed under Belgian colonial rule, the establishment of mechanisms for reparations, and the accelerated restitution of historical archives, cultural artifacts, and other property removed from these countries.
Another major issue raised was the return of human remains taken to Belgium during the colonial period. Advocates for justice argue that these remains should be returned to their countries of origin and treated with the dignity and respect they deserve, allowing families and nations to reclaim an important part of their history.
Observers say the question of reparations should not be viewed solely in financial terms. It also involves acknowledging historical truth, returning what was taken, opening and restoring access to historical archives, and building a new relationship based on truth and justice.
Although Belgium has, on several occasions, expressed regret over certain aspects of its colonial history in Africa, those demanding justice argue that such statements are no longer enough. In their view, regret without concrete responsibility and action risks remaining little more than political rhetoric, while the consequences of colonialism continue to affect the societies left behind.
The conference in Baku has once again brought a fundamental question to the forefront: After more than a century of colonial history, will Belgium move beyond words and take concrete steps toward justice and reparations for the countries of Central Africa?
For those calling for justice, preserving and discussing history is only one step. What is increasingly being demanded is a genuine acknowledgment of responsibility and concrete action to address the lasting damage caused by colonial rule.
#DRC: Are the decisions being made by President Félix Tshisekedi’s government accelerating the fragmentation of the DRC that has already begun?
Kinshasa has suspended the activities of public universities and higher education institutions located in areas controlled by AFC/M23. Students’ diplomas may no longer be recognized, teachers will no longer be paid, and some have reportedly already been removed from the list of employees.
It has been almost two years since banks were closed in some of these areas. Now, education is also being suspended, and the consequences are being imposed on a population that had no role in this crisis.
Yet, those who fled Goma and Bukavu in the face of AFC/M23 were the police, the national army, the FDLR, the Wazalendo, and mercenaries. But unfortunately, it is the ordinary population that is paying the price for the consequences of this situation.
Education should never be mixed with political conflicts or war. Students and teachers should not be punished for a situation they neither chose nor played any role in creating. These hasty decisions could force the two Kivu provinces to become independent.
@Karinganire_Has Officials of CNDD-FDD: Fires at Ngozi July 2026, Ndayizamba 21/08/2026 and Kinindo 25/08/2026 continue a long record of human rights violations. Protect traders.
Condemning the FARDC statement accusing M23/AFC and the RDF of being behind the killings, this is a diversion tactic used by Tshisekedi aimed at misleading and manipulating international opinion, instead of supporting the ongoing international efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in eastern Congo.
Tshisekedi has failed to protect the Congolese people by funding and arming the FDLR, Wazalendo, ADF, and other armed groups to kill innocent Congolese civilians and loot the country’s resources. What is clear is that Tshisekedi does not want peace, even though there is international pressure urging him to engage in dialogue with AFC/M23. However, both his statements and his actions every day show that he does not want peace to be achieved, which is why he blames Rwanda for all the problems.
@Karinganire_Has Stop the warmongers. The USA, EU Commission and African Union must intervene to prevent Tshisekedi and Ndayishimiye from attacking Minembwe again.
