I’ve never seen Lampard be a shadow striker. He was heading clearances in defence box and 20 seconds later finishing off a counter attack with a well timed run. He was recovering the ball and made defence breaking passes to end up scoring himself

@justcfc And we should sell: Garnacho, Jorgensen, Disasi, Badiashile, Fofana, Delap + couple more fringes in reserves. Get about 120-150 from these sales and spend it all plus more on the three targets. If we can get rid of Jackson and get a quality striker to compete with JP even better

Now, that’s a good debate. VVD is not in the level of Terry or Vidic or Carvalho. These three are the best CBs to play in the PL. Then Ferdinand.
