Absolutely outraged that @santanderuk have denied my buyer a mortgage even though we have confirmed that the leaseholders are not responsible for paying for the remedial works. What more do they want?? this is a never ending nightmare. #EndOurCladdingScandal

@santanderukhelp 2/2 we supplied all the evidence that the buyer will not have to pay a penny for any works. This #claddingscandal is ruining peoples lives.

@santanderukhelp 1/2 yes of course. they were told that the person that did the valuation has made this decision. He now wants confirmation that the work has been done before any mortgage will be given. How can this be justified?

@rachaelvenables Theres too much emphasis on the word cladding, people do not seem to realise this is affecting people with brick slip which many may not view as cladding, Ive seen stories of EWS1 being requested for a victorian semi split into flats. EWS1 now trapping virtually every flat owner
