I mistakenly sent a client the wrong Opay account number. I gave him 8141628831 instead of 8142618831.

Immediately he sent his payment receipt. When I checked it, I realized the error was mine. I didn’t panic. Since the mistake came from me, I had already made up my mind to deliver the order even if I wouldn’t receive the payment.

He had ordered two bottles of Goron Tula Herbal Syrup, totaling ₦30,000.

I calmly called the owner of the account the money was sent to. The moment she picked up and greeted me with “Assalamu Alaikum” followed by Hausa greetings, I felt a strong sense of relief. In my heart, I knew there was a very high chance I’d get my money back.

I explained everything to her. She told me she doesn’t receive alerts but would confirm at the POS and return the money if it was there. She asked me to give her some time because she was eating.

A few hours later, I called again. She explained she had been busy arranging someone to stay with her kids before stepping out. I still didn’t panic. I politely asked her to call me back once she confirmed.

About 30 minutes later, she called back to confirm the money was indeed in her account and asked me to send my account details. She mentioned that POS charges would be deducted, which I agreed to.

A few minutes after sending my details, I received an alert of ₦29,750.

I felt genuinely happy not just because I got my money back, but because honest people still exist. Out of appreciation, I sent her ₦5,000 as a token.
She called to thank me, and we chatted briefly. Funny enough, it turned out we knew each other’s families we’re from the same town. Small world indeed.

In that moment, I remembered a friend who mistakenly sent money to a man, and till today, he has refused to return it despite her pleas. My friend joked that the moment she saw his name, she knew the ₦30k was gone 🤣. One Tobiloba Toafeek Kazeem

Part 2 – My Story With this Scammers Disguising Themselves as a Prop Firm

After they claimed I exposed my account to 2.5% risk which I didn’t, they told me they would reset my account so I could start again from Phase 1. Honestly, it was sad but I said no problem since I knew I was going to pass it again.

They reset the account.
I started from Phase 1.
And guess what?
I passed both phases again. So now it was time for the live account.

It took them five days to send the login details, and when they finally did, they tried to play reverse psychology on me. They said after evaluating my trades, they discovered my risk exposure was 2%–3%, so they would reduce my leverage on the live funded account.

When I saw that message… I laughed.

Why?
Because I passed BOTH new evaluation accounts using two trades each, with 1% risk per trade.
And they were acting like they did me a favor. Lol.

I didn’t argue. I already had the live account after passing four evaluation accounts successfully.

But with the new leverage as shown in the screenshot ,you can’t even risk 1% properly on EURUSD. But that wasn’t the main issue.

I got the live account and started trading. Long story short, I made $4,666 and requested my payout.

I didn’t violate any rule.
I’ve been in this industry for 7 years; I don’t trade news on prop accounts. I no be baby

They congratulated me, sent certificates, and encouraged me to post them online but I didn’t
And trust me, this is their trick to make traders promote them even before paying a dime.

A few days later, the real story started.

They sent me an email claiming I violated news trading rules. Which I didn’t. I contacted support, the explanation made zero sense so I messaged their CEO, Alex — no response.

I was like okay, let me even confirm if truly I traded news without knowing
But guess what I discovered when I opened my MT5?

They had already deactivated the account.

How exactly am I supposed to confirm any violation when you’ve locked me out?

That was the moment I knew these people are full-blown scammers.

Because if I truly violated news rules:
Why didn’t you send the warning immediately?
I traded on that account for two weeks before the payout request.
Why did the “violation” only appear the moment I asked for my money?

If these people were legit, they would have at least reset the account, not delete it completely.

This is why I’m speaking up.
So other traders won’t go through this nonsense.

Never use your money to buy their account.
Don’t waste your energy.
They will not pay you.

Any prop firm running with ridiculous rules needs to be called out.
This nonsense must stop this year.
The movement continues.

If you see any suspicious prop firm, send it to my DM — I’ll expose them and create awareness. Traders deserve better. Trading is not easy and treating the few trying to make money this way can be very very discouraging.
