Asteroid Protocol Shutdown
We’ve decided to shut down Asteroid Protocol due to very low activity and lack of liquidity across @cosmos. Ongoing infrastructure and maintenance costs are no longer justified.
Asteroid Protocol will be shut down on January 31, 2026.
No further operations will continue after that date.
Thank you to everyone who experimented with and supported the project.
@arkprotocol explored and supported every possible path to make Asteroid work, but without sustainable usage, continuing is no longer responsible.

Also supporting migrating @StargazeZone to the Hub 100%. Lots of things are happening at Cosmos - no matter how the outcome of all this will be, it feels like an "endgame" tbh 🙃.
May be the force be with us!

As Cosmos Ecosystem Maximalists, we believe that mutual assistance is essential to building the Internet of Blockchains
We believe that the exodus of so many blockchains from the Cosmos is an indication of the wrong direction
We would like to emphasize that the social-darwinist position expressed by @0xMagmar is not the opinion of the entire @cosmos, but only the opinion of @cosmoslabs_io
We are convinced that mutual assistance is the most important factor of evolution
The idea that an endless fighting of everyone against everyone will lead us to a good outcome is a misconception
Apparently, @cosmoslabs_io doesn't see that Cosmos is dying, at least we haven't seen any attempts to ressurect it
For over a year, we've been waiting for some action from the so-called "leaders of Cosmos," but we mustn't forget that a strong community doesn't need leaders
The community already voted not to trust @interchain_io
After that, ICF appointed Cosmos Labs in their place
Why do we trust Cosmos Labs if we don't trust ICF?
Let Cosmos Labs continue developing the Skip Protocol - they're doing a great job
The fact that they're failing to manage Cosmos is reflected in the drop in the price of $ATOM since ICF appointed them "leaders of Cosmos"
We will soon publish our proposal to ressurect the Cosmos, as we no longer have time and hope that someone else will save the Cosmos

1/9 Builders, say good bye to Cosmos (unless u r resilient & patient enough)!
My DMs r open for new opportunities. Prop #1006 most likely will NOT pass.
Here's why: validators have been adviced NOT to support any builders requesting CP funds. In the future this will be AAA's role (under ICL's control), by transferring (most) likely most of CP funds to new DAO.
This ONLY holds as long as validator decisions are independent and is not led by a small team - otherwise it is not(!) decentralized. "Governance does not work - more control is needed" is the new narrative 🤷.
Current vote proves this:
