The best one (with a perspective) from the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026 -- I have I found till now. The solar corona has been captured quite well.

Big active region on the farside! Solar Orbiter is currently able to see the farside of the Sun--the part not facing Earth. There is a very large and complex active region along with some other smaller regions that have recently developed.
This is encouraging for solar activity purposes since recently we have seen a "hot longitude" which results in the sunspot number fluctuating between ~150 and ~50 every 27 days (length of solar rotation).
These groups on the farside may indicate a more sustained period of high sunspot number may be in store for us! Let's hope some of these large regions survive the farside passage and remain complex enough to launch flares and CMEs! It's been awhile...
Glad to share the press release of our recent work where we have mapped 3D magnetic field inside the Sun combining solar surface observations with a 3D dynamo model. Thanks to @IITKanpur and param sanganak for all support!
Decades of surface observations reveal our Sun’s mysterious magnetic interior
Researchers at IIT Kanpur have achieved a major scientific breakthrough by mapping the magnetic field inside the Sun for the first time. By assimilating 30 years of solar surface observations from space satellites into a 3D computational model, the study reveals the magnitude, structure, and evolution of the Sun’s internal magnetic fields over three decades.
Led by Soumyadeep Chatterjee, PhD student, under the guidance of Prof. Gopal Hazra (Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur), the research—published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters—offers critical insights into the solar dynamo, the mechanism that drives the Sun’s 11-year magnetic cycle, sunspots, and solar eruptions.
This data-driven model not only deepens our understanding of solar magnetic activity but also improves predictions of future solar cycles, helping safeguard satellites, power grids, navigation, and communication systems from space-weather disruptions.

The year 2025 is ending with good news ☺️!! First paper of my PhD student Soumyadeep got accepted in the prestigious ApJ Letters (IF=11.7), where we reconstructed magnetic field inside the Sun using data assimilation from observations

We assimilated 10000 daily magnetograms (1996–2025) into a 3D dynamo model & reconstructed both the amplitude and evolution of the interior magnetic field. To the best of our knowledge, this is first observationally guided reconstruction of the Sun’s internal magnetic field!!
#teamINDUS share glimpse of another premier solar community meeting - "Variable Sun: Present, past & future" Jointly organized by IIST, VSSC @isro trivandrum, @ANRFIndia , @IIABengaluru and @ARIESNainital in Trivandrum, Kerala from 13-17th October, 2025.

@rpokolkata Kindly reply. Proper information regarding email-based closure is not available on the internet or through the Passport Seva national call center. Your guidance would be very helpful. @passportsevamea@MEAIndia
@rpokolkata On 14/08/2025, I submitted a closure request via email for File No: CA2075429284625. I was informed it was forwarded, but the status remains unchanged. Kindly update on progress/timeline and advise if further formalities are required. #UrgentHelp@passportsevamea
@rpokolkata please respond. Passport Seva helpline also advised me to contact RPO Kolkata for assistance. It is an urgent request, @rpokolkata please help. @passportsevamea
My passport reissue (File No: CA2075429284625) is on hold at PSK Kolkata due to mismatch in father’s name-middle name only in Class 10 certificate. I wish to retain my father's name without middle name as in my old passport. @rpokolkata please advise. No response to my email yet.
