Hi there, first tweet! My name is Vincent and I’m an amateur astronomer based in Switzerland 🇨🇭. I mostly capture deep sky object, but I’m also interested in wide field photography as well!
Here’s my latest picture, M31, more than 70 hours of exposure! 🙄📸
Hi there ! It’s been a while ! I hope everyone is doing well here 🚀
Here’s a picture I took yesterday with my new Sigma 24mm f/1.4 ART. What a beautiful lens ! ✨
Why am I able to get more details on deep sky objects than planets, despite them being so much further away? Here’s a composite image showing the apparent size difference between Saturn and the moon, to hopefully illustrate why. Planets are TINY! #astrophotography#space#opteam
The image that I teased over the last week. I call it "Lunacy", some of the best details I've ever shot of the surface of the moon, in a phase that shows off my favorite features. The full size is 400 megapixels, so be sure to select "load in 4k" #astrophotography#space#opteam
As many of you know I just moved from California to Arizona in search of better skies. Here are the first photographs I captured from my new backyard, Saturn and Jupiter. Already more detailed than anything I could capture from Sacramento. #Astrophotography#space#opteam
