if we're getting into galactic domination as a species, we should argue about minimizing the doubling periods of our space factories instead of the launch date
@yFactr More people should read the book. Some of the best military scifi around, even though it's mostly about a journey through multiple ethics and mortality courses about why western civilization fell and what replaced it. It's 'controversial', but oh so good. Classic Heinlein
@__el__toro__ We use an EinScan Pro HD. If you use it right it does produce rather good meshes! Very useful for reverse engineering stuff, almost every project we do involves a scan.
And that's fckn sweet. I'd love to have a project vehicle. Call it the car of theseus
@fmtownsmartey On the contrary, only a baby would want to stay inside his cradle for all eternity
It's pretty comfortable in there, but it'll stunt your growth
@__el__toro__ Wow, that's an incredibly cool project you've got going there!! Quite something.
I've also been working on headlight bezels. They've been a real pain to cad up, but it is getting close... I'll probably post pics of the final results on here.
@__el__toro__ This is a custom job, the models are matched to a 3D scan of the car. The bottom area w/ a mount for custom light boards is steel, gonna weld it in
"I didn’t have any idea how… profoundly revealing the Hubble observations would be. But I remember thinking, 'This is really going to be special.'” –Dr. Steven A. Hawley
As we get ready to celebrate the NASA's Hubble Space Telescope's 35th anniversary in space, we present a new collection of oral history transcripts sharing the experiences of the leaders, scientists, engineers, and astronauts who contributed to the mission. Check it out! https://t.co/k2iHIFwi7Q
