CYBERPUNK 2077 | BUILD #2 | GUNSLINGER / PISTOL BUILD

Disclaimer: FOR EVERY BUILD I POST YOU NEED PHANTOM LIBERTY AND THE ADDITIONAL PERK SHARDS ! Read up on Extra Perkshards in Online Guides and where to find them! Otherwise you won´t get the full potential out of the build

General Idea:

This Build focuses obviously on Pistols and the Idea is to Appeal to both Stealth Players AND Loud Players. Meaning either you can be a Western Gunslinger a la Arthur Morgan in direct confrontations OR you can be Sneaky as Agent 47 and use your silencer to…. silence People. (Sorry)
This Build is really flexible especially when it Comes to Damage Output if you use Revolvers you will get the most out of this build when it Comes to pure Damage Output. Chrome-Wise this is a moderate build. There are two possible ways either Chrome Compressor to gain the maximal Output in Damage OR Sandevistan to have a "Bullseye" type of System. My Preference is obviously Bullseye since a Gunslinger should have that but you could also go with a Chrome Compressor and take Iconic Versions of some of the Cyberware I will be taking since the Cyberware Capacity WONT be that high.

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTES: COOL , BODY , TECHNICAL ABILITY

Body: 20
Reflexes: 18
Technical Ability 20
Cool: 20
Intelligence 3

Starting Points: 3 BODY (+2) , COOL (+3), TECHNICAL (+2)
Levels 1-10: Your Focus should be on Body. Especially if you are on "Very Hard". I´d say 5 Body / 5 Cool. Chrome is not needed here since you barely unlock any this low Level.
Levels 10-25: Here you should start shifting your Focus to Chrome around Lvl.15 or Lvl.20. 5 Cool / 5 Tech / 5 Reflex = Your PTS should look like this (10 Body, 16 Cool, 10 Tech, 8 Reflex, 3 Intelligence)
Levels 25+ : Here Maximize cool asap, Focus the rest on Tech followed by Body. Reflex takes the last priority.

WEAPONS:

1. Weapon Pistol

In Early Levels I would take V´s Pistol "Dying Night" and upgrade it. The Weapon deals more Damage the faster you move and with the Quick Melee Attacks you can shock People. Its the best starter Pistol (Use it in Act 1)

After the Heist Wilson contacts you and the Quest "Shoot To Thrill" starts go to the firing range and participate in the Tournament make sure you get 40 Pts at least to get 1st Place (Tip: Use Tech Pistols that burst when you hold the trigger like Lizzie´s or Kenshin)
You get the Lexington XMOD2 which you can mod to your liking Focusing either on accuracy or Damage Output.

The Best Pistol you should get for Stealth and that should Always be with you: Her Majesty from Phantom Liberty Main Story. Otherwise take Johnny´s Malorian with that you can Focus your build around igniting People since we are improving Tech Abilities too so you would just have to adjust your Cyberware Bonuses around Fire Damage (Both of These are strong Options for Endgame)

2. Weapon Revolver

Ah yes early Level Iconic Revolvers are a rarity the one earliest you could get is Comrades Hammer by doing the related Street Crime to it and Crafting it... but honestly? Its not worth it. My advise take the Overture and Level the Gun by looting for it when you Level up (at 10 Green ; at 20 Blue and so on) or buy it from Vendors.

Mid Game Things look much better for Gunslingers we have quite a few Options I present 2 two of my favs: Crash (River´s Revolver) is one of the best when it Comes for precise headshots especially with the Sandy to one shot the Gonks that dare to get in your sight. Although I know that River isn´t the most popular when it Comes to his Questline so there is a alternative Archangel this one you shall get when you finish the SAMURAI Concert in Kerry´s Gig. The Revolver fires in Auto Mode in Archangel Samurai Tunes and Knocks Enemies down.

Endgame there are a lot of Options especially Phantom Liberty provides lots of possibilities for Revolver Fans. Cassidy´s is easily the best but for that you would have to do Panam Ending early if you do Phantom Liberty there are 2 better Options imo so I will cover them in my article.

There is a unique Revolver for Stealth Players. Yes Revolver you heard it Right. Mancinella the Revolver you get in the Quest "Run this Town" is a favorite of mine especially in Stealth: It has a silencer that applies also Poison when headshotting enemies. So ist recommended for Stealth Players imo. Your Headshot Damage Bonus also applies when entering Combat with this Revolver

Ol´Reliable is the best Revolver if you aim for distance Combat meaning the farther you are away the more Damage this Revolver deals. You get it by Killing Dante in the Shot by Both Sides Quest (Phantom Liberty). You don´t have to Side with Bree btw you can also kill them both Keep that in mind :)

3. Weapon Flexible
Here there are couple of Options that take Advantage from some of your Tech Abilities too so take one if you like or Sniper Rifle if you are opting for a more Stealth/Pistol Build.
I will give you 2 of my favorite Options

1. Tech Sniper Rifle
Breakthrough - This weapon is a beast it penetrates through EVERYTHING when fully charged. This weapon is just a must imo in this Build if you go for a Pistol / Stealth Build not bc it helps you in Stealth but rather with Sandy you can pick out enemies loud and quickly before anyone even notices you are there :)
You can find this weapon at a Suspected Crime Activity in Rancho Coronado

2. Tech Pistol
Lizzies - This pistol should also be used often in this build especially early on since you can get this as early as Judy´s Questline kicksoff at Lizzie´s Bar. Lizzies the Tech Pistol is close up beast it fires 5 rounds when fully charged and Kills Enemies instantly no matter if they are behind a cover or not so take that too

A Viable Option would also be Order the Tech Shotgun you get in Phantom Liberty at the Blackmarket Vendor. You would have to respec a bit and Focus on more on Body - Shotgun Perks

PERKS:

Lets go over the most IMPORTANT Perks

Body: Painkiller , Adrenaline Rush , Unstoppable Force (so you don´t get knocked while Adrenaline is active) , Juggernaut, Pain to Gain
Cool: Focus, Deep Breath, Deadeye, Nerves of Tungsten Steel, Run´n´Gun, California Reaper, Killer Instinct, Gag Order, Quick Getaway, Road Warrior
Tech: All Things Cyber, Driver Update, Renaissance Punk, Glutton for War, Health Freak, Pyromania, Burn This City, Bolt, Chain Lightning
Reflex: Slippery, Dash, Stunt Jock, Air Dash, Aerial Combat

Cyberware:

For OS we go either for Chrome Compressor or Sandevistan in my Build we go Sandy.

Sandevistan: Militech Apogee (Best Sandy no Need for Explanation)
Face: We Need CRIT CRIT CRIT so we take the Cockatrice / Early Game Oracle Optics
Hands: Less Recoil more precision; Immovable Force / Early Level Microgenerator for Tech Weapons
Circulatory System: Isometric Stabilizer, Heal on Kill, Feedback Circuit
Legs: Reinforced Tendons
Skeleton: Para Bellum; Titanium Bones
Nervous System; Deep-field Visual Interface, Kerenzikov, NeoFiber
Integumentary System: Subdermal Armor, RangeGuard, Countershell

This Build goes mostly for Range but has some Advantages on the Close Range side too depending on if you go more heads on then I would suggest swapping some of the Cyberware like Range Guard f.e. with Nano Plating

Relic Perks:

The Final Part of this Article is About the Relic Perks These are the ones you should get no Arm Cyberware ones needed since this Build doesn´t utilize Arm Cyberware.

Vaulnerability Analytics and Machine Learning

Combat Tips:

In Close Combat try to go for a Technical Aspect of the Build especially if you are noisy. If you go more for the Pistol "Sneaky" Aspect than utilize a Tech Sniper Rifle. Otherwise a Tech Shot Gun does the Job too and take some of the Shotgun Perks instead of Grenade Perks.
