🌎 Happy Earth Day!
As we celebrate #EarthDay, let’s remember our planet’s orbits are a finite, shared resource that must be protected. From weather satellites to GPS, the space infrastructure we rely on every day depends on secure, accessible orbits.
At Astroscale, we’re committed to protecting Earth’s environment through responsible operations and innovations in on-orbit servicing because safeguarding Earth means preserving all the spaces we depend on: land, sea, sky, and orbit.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting two groups of aerospace students from @CUEngineering and @coschoolofmines at our Denver office for a Q&A session with engineers, and a final design review of active debris removal prototype projects. We’re always excited to help mentor the next generation of aerospace innovators!
Astroscale’s $61M refueling mission isn’t a demo — it’s happening.
In this Space Café “33 minutes with Ron Lopez”, live from @Astroscale_US after the 40th #SpaceSymposium, @TKriening talks GEO refueling, orbital logistics, and what it means to “deliver sustainability as a service.”
From the $61M APS-R mission to military partnerships and Astroscale’s global footprint — Ron Lopez maps out what’s next.
