@Zokq_@Chromatic_Games That is correct. Games are not cheap. If they make small project, over project over project like DDA, Rogue, now this, that will eventually equate to a very large cost.
You right you right. 😂
@Zokq_@Chromatic_Games A sequel to DD2 that has more content than DD2 on all fronts would need a SIGNIFICANTLY large budget; similar to how much Trendy spent to make DD2 happen in the first place. I don't think Chromatic has those same player numbers, nor the budget, nor the team size to pull that off.
@PneumaGamesLLC I still can't figure that out and I haven't beaten it haha. I'm bad at escape rooms and puzzle games. I'm sure VIRIDIAN will mess me up too.
@PneumaGamesLLC Hmm. I sort of like both but I am pulled more towards B just because I wanna see more detail of the laptop. Perhaps it's possible to use the mouse wheel to go back and forth between the two as a win for both?
Given the difficulty I am surprised how much I enjoy this precision platformer. The key is in level design - while you die A LOT, you are discovering new possibilities to move forward. On top, it has tight controls and beautiful handcrafted art. Switch is perfect plarform for it.
@PneumaGamesLLC Nicee! Love the webs! Amazing stuff! Can't wait to play. Also, I can't tell if it's twitter compression but I see a good amount of aliasing going on. Do you have this at Max settings? I understand you wouldn't work on the game with the highest settings to not slow down your work.
@PneumaGamesLLC I'll be glad to give some suggestions! You can add pillows on the couch, perhaps a blanket draped over the side or over the top. I'd imagine the character living in the house would watch TV with the lights off and a blanket over him.
The top of the cabinet could have some books?
If you are using any sort of version control with Unreal ( spoiler: you should be )
The enable the version control plug-in inside the editor. It will help you search history of edits in Bluprint, see who has files locked in a team and be able to validate data before commits.
Things we believe all indie devs should be good at here at Pneuma Games:
1. Respecting others
2. Networking
3. Asking for help
4. Self love, patience, and acceptance
5. Enjoying the process
On my way to being unemployed 🫠 so I'll put this up. RT is very much appreciated!
You know where to go 👀
