@OnTapPhysio The sarcasm went over your head there. You can't see that forcing people into indecent situations is unnecessary. It was not a joke. It was to point out the flaws in your argument.
@OnTapPhysio@mddltn@MC_the_AT@sunsopeningband I think you're right. We should also only perform CPR on real people too. Would you like to volunteer to be the first practice dummy? Practicing with models is valid and can be made to reflect real life scenarios.
@esolger@AnonymousAT2 That same article states spatting is not as effective as a regular ankle tape. And it's effective use is in conjunction with ankle tape.
@cjhess1@AUGoalie14 That's actually not the issue. The problem is that android is not a brand of phone it's an operating system so it is hard to make software compatible across the hundreds of android devices all with small variations. If you have one of the major brands most things function well.
As reported before, the CATA informs the public that the alleged individual IS NOT a Board of Certification, Inc. Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). One of many reasons regulation for board certified athletic trainers is needed in CA

@clarkjf@ajhgo4 This mindset is a problem. What is best for the patient should come first. The idea of immediately transferring care does not always work in the real world and is not always what is best. Work together for the patient and put the ego aside.
Every single person and organization in California who has opposed regulation of #AthleticTraining needs to explain why they don’t consider this important enough for youth/high school sports. ATs save lives! We are licensed healthcare providers in most states.. but not California
Takeaway #2: Clinicians must recognize the signs of sport specialization and consider the timing of specialization as well as the magnitude of specialization when screening patients

Takeaway #1: Moderate evidence indicates that early and a high degree of sport specialization is associated with lower health-related quality of life compared to late sport specialization.

We in fact need to discuss this because-
1. It was a doctor!
2. Please use correct terminology if you are going to try to get someone in trouble.
2.5. It’s Athletic Trainer…not ‘trainer’
