These books marked the beginning of a profound and wonderful awakening.

I’m not a religious person—far from it—but I decided to learn about Islam. For anyone wanting to do the same, I highly recommend getting a copy with commentary. Islam is something that needs to be studied and understood, not just read.

I chose today to try and engage in debate on some basics of the Palestinian cause and Israeli occupation.

Mostly rabid, unhinged people who hide behind legal definitions of how many children you can kill with it still being “Legal”

Others who get a perverse kick out of knowing Muslims are being murdered.

But I’ll always engage and talk. To real people. Not bots. We have to talk. We have to learn with honesty. But you must bring fact not opinion.

And a special shoutout to the Jewish brothers and sisters who stand against the genocide, apartheid and general terrible reality of Palestinians.
