Can’t believe I’m posting this but .. HUGE Shout Out to @wmata!! The bus drivers, staff, and dispatch worked together this morning to track down the bus I had ridden and reunite me with an item I had left on board. Their coordination of getting me to the aforementioned bus was truly impressive!

I am super grateful and impressed by their kindness and efficiency. Thank you Dash and Metroway!! Hats off to you, and thank you for changing my impression of WMATA 🙏✨

@estevens0845 You cannot make the choice to leave/ ie apply for a military discharge due to PTSD. You must be declared unfit for duty by a doctor. This article is unclear. While it states a doctor found him unfit for duty - it also says he “left” twice - I think clarification is needed
