We are disgusted by the anti-lesbian video posted by the doctor/entrepreneur Helen Webberley.

One of the reasons we formed LGB Alliance was that the entire concept of sexual orientation was being erased by the “LGBTQ” sector. Lesbians in particular were - are - suffering from abuse for their same-sex attraction. Nancy Kelley, then CEO of Stonewall, referred to lesbians as “sexual racists”.

The Supreme Court understood what homosexuality means. In its ruling of 16 April 2025 it clarified the point that lesbians are biological women who are attracted to other biological women.

Of course, there are still heterosexual men who claim to be “lesbians” - egged on and applauded not just by the LGBTQ sector but by major human rights organizations, from Amnesty to the UN. Our progress against this malign trend is slow.

The brave young women Serena Worley and @MaeveHalligan dared to stand up for lesbian rights at the Cambridge Union. They spoke passionately - and they spoke the truth. Their superb speeches rattled the homophobic doctor Webberley, whose income is threatened by this truth. She posted an utterly vile attack on these young women, calling them “selfish” for standing up for the right to exclude men from lesbian dating apps.

The people she calls “transgender women” are heterosexual men. We do not have “gender self-ID” in the UK. They are men and they do not belong in lesbian spaces.

Helen Webberley exemplifies today’s trendy - and often lucrative - homophobia.

We reject her abusive attack and everything she stands for.

All I can tell you is when I was fighting (& no one wanted to help) to get fair sport back for our girls this woman took all my calls no matter where she was in the world & as trade sec she was never home. She was stopped from doing all she wanted, whilst in government, but she never stopped trying. I believe her & I know she’ll try to do what’s right not what’s easy.

How have things come to this?

Starmer pledged that Jews are welcome and safe in Britain. That he stands shoulder to shoulder with the Jewish community and will use the full force of his government to prove it.

Will he back those words with action and guarantee that Jewish fans can walk into any football stadium in this country?

If not, it sends a horrendous and shameful message: there are parts of Britain where Jews simply cannot go.

Because even liking or following an account that supports biological reality could risk their job, business, friendships or other important relationships.

Some never even post or comment.
They just want to read - quietly.

But they're afraid to even *follow* anyone who says - correctly - that there are two biological sexes and you can’t change from one to another.

There are no words good enough to express the horror of this.

The killing of Charlie Kirk is a blow to everything Western civilization stands for: open discourse, robust debate and peaceful dissent. He lived his life by those very principles, no matter the danger it put him in.

This may have happened far from our shores, but the rising intolerance of opposing views affects us all. We cannot turn a blind eye to it.
