Tomorrow, we remember the disappeared; not as statistics, but as sons, daughters, parents, siblings, friends and comrades whose families continue to live with the unbearable weight of uncertainty.

Enforced disappearance is not simply about someone being missing. It is a violation of human rights that leaves families trapped between hope, fear, grief and unanswered questions.

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, the Mothers of Victims & Survivors Network invites us to stand with families still searching for truth.

🕗 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

There will be remembrance, community dialogue, a march and press engagement—all centred on one demand:

TELL US WHERE THEY ARE.

We demand truth. We demand investigations. We demand justice. We demand accountability.

Because silence cannot become the final chapter in the lives of the disappeared.

We will keep searching.
We will keep demanding answers.
