🌧️💪 Tough conditions. Physical football. Statement win.

Closed out the regular season Friday with a 42-0 win over Ross Sheppard! With the wind and rain limiting the passing game, our O-line helped pave the way for nearly 250 rushing yards. 🏈

At Center, I battled a bigger Nose Tackle all night. The challenge? Trust my technique, win with leverage, footwork & angles, and do my job for the team.

Proud to help lead this group as a Senior Team Captain as we secure our playoff spot and earn the #4 ranking in 4A Alberta! 🦅

Beyond football, I got to spend time with family, including having my Grandma fly in from BC to watch my final regular-season game. Sunday was back to the field officiating 2 U13 playoff games. Different role, same passion for the game. 🏈

The goal is to get 1% better every day. The standard never changes.

Now it's playoff time. We're just getting started. 🔥

🏈 ONE GAME LEFT. BIG GOALS AHEAD. 🦅💙💛

Two weeks of preparation coming off the bye. One final regular-season game. And a lot still to play for.

This Friday, our #6-ranked 4A Bev Facey Falcons take on the #11-ranked 5A Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds at 5 PM at Emerald Hills.

It’s also SENIOR NIGHT. To all our graduating seniors (@GradyMalo_6 @HCharron2 @Deshawn28606021 @EthanCShirley)— thank you for the battles, memories, and lessons along the way. It’s been an honour sharing this journey with you. Wishing each of you nothing but success in your next chapter. Once a Falcon, always a Falcon! 💙💛

We’ve secured 3rd place in our division and clinched a playoff spot, but we’re not done. We’re chasing bigger goals, and Friday is another opportunity to prove what this team is capable of.

As a captain, I know what it takes: trust your teammates, do your job, and bring it every snap. The work isn’t finished. The mission isn’t over. 🔨

🏈 A productive bye week on and off the field!

Last week was a great opportunity to bond as a team, recharge, and focus on getting better together. Sometimes the biggest gains come from putting in the work behind the scenes.

A busy weekend followed! Officiated 4 youth football games, got a morning workout in, and made time for what matters most — family. ❤️ Big thanks to Auntie Michelle for a great family supper! Also got to cheer on my younger cousin Bentley at hockey, who celebrated a big win with a hat trick! 🏒🔥 Way to go, Bentley!

Sunday also brought a chance to share the field with my former club, the Fort Saskatchewan Falcons, while officiating their U16 game. Tough way to lose in the final minute, but respect to the team for battling. Good luck in the playoffs, Falcons!

Now it’s back to business. 💪 One regular-season game left against the Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds. We’ll be prepared, focused, and ready to compete.

Family, team, community, and continuous improvement. One week at a time. 🦅

A FULL WEEKEND. A LOT TO BE GRATEFUL FOR. 🏈🍁💪

Thursday through Monday was a reminder that growth happens both on and off the field.

🏈 THURSDAY — GAME DAY
Big 28–18 win over the Spruce Grove Panthers on a cold, rainy night! Our team controlled the run game and battled for the win.
👀 Watch for #60 in white — starting at Center on the O-line and playing DT on defense! Love the opportunity to contribute on both sides of the ball.

📚 FRIDAY — CLASSROOM
Finished the week with an 82% on my English unit test. My goal is to keep improving as a student and an athlete.

🦓 SATURDAY — GIVING BACK
Officiated two U13 football games. It’s awesome watching younger players learn, compete, and enjoy the game. Officiating has helped me develop my football IQ, communication, and understanding of the game from another perspective.
🦃 SUNDAY — GRATITUDE
Spent Thanksgiving with family. I’m grateful for the people who support me, the opportunities I’ve been given, and the chance to keep working toward my goals. There’s too much to be thankful for to name just one thing.

💪 MONDAY — BACK TO WORK
Caught up on homework and chores, then finished with a 2-hour workout. The work doesn’t stop when the game ends.
Next up: BYE WEEK. Time to recover, sharpen the details, and prepare for Ross Sheppard on Friday, October 23. 🔨

🌧️💪 WHEN THE WEATHER GETS NASTY, WE GET TO WORK.

Rain pouring. Pads popping. Running game rolling. 🏈

The Facey Falcons battled through the elements last night and powered past Spruce Grove 28–18 to secure our Metro Alberta Tier 1 playoff berth! 🟦🟨

We pounded the rock all night! Proud to be part of an O-line that gets after it in any conditions.

38–19 W over the JP Rebels! 💪🏈

Proud of how our entire team competed from start to finish. We went into halftime up 31–7, which gave some of our younger players the opportunity to get meaningful varsity reps — and they stepped up and made the most of it.

As a captain, one of the best parts of this game was seeing our whole team contribute and watching younger players get their opportunity. Great teams don’t just win together — they build each other up.

🏆 OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE GAME — O-LINE

Proud of our Bev Facey O-Line for being recognized for our performance against AOB.

As a captain of this group, I’m proud of how we’ve come together, trusted each other and worked as one unit to help our team succeed.

The O-Line doesn’t always get the spotlight, but we take pride in doing the work, communicating, playing physical and controlling the line of scrimmage.

Proud to be part of this group and proud to be the one holding the white belt. 💙🏈

This is the Bev Facey O-Line. We’ve worked too hard to be satisfied with where we are. We want to keep getting better and see how far we can take this.

🏈 Great weekend on and off the field!

Friday night, we took on the JP Rebels in a hard-fought game and came away with a 38–19 victory! I felt like I had a strong game, including one play where I was able to get 2 pancakes on the same play. 💪

I’ve never been big on chasing pancake stats. My focus is doing my job every snap and helping the team be successful. Sometimes when you focus too much on getting the highlight, you can forget about the play itself — and that’s when you end up with a loaf instead. 😂

Saturday was catching up on homework and chores before officiating a great game between the Edmonton Wildcats and Edmonton Huskies. The Wildcats came out on top 35–31 in an exciting finish. @EWCATS

Sunday, I officiated two U11 games. I always enjoy being around this age group because they’re just out there having fun and enjoying the game. Seeing their excitement in thier eyes is pretty awesome! 🏈

Finished the weekend with a great conversation with Coach Lio @sacfootball1899 about what it takes to become an elite athlete, which starts with being a good person. Thanks, Coach, for your time and the great conversation. I really appreciate it!
