The "Cloud" you play isn't him, and the soldier that is walking around is the actual cloud reminiscing about his past.

Another broken PS5 console with system boot failure and zero ways to fix it permanently. Where are technicians even supposed to source replacement memory chips from? A donor board that likely failed for the exact same reason, leaving you with no idea how long the "fix" will last. It makes repairs completely pointless.
These machines aren't cheap. Back in the PS3 and PS4 eras, a drive failure was fast fix swap the drive, reinstall the OS, done. Major hardware locks were rare.
Today, anticonsumer design turns expensive tech into disposable junk the moment a single chip gives out.
