@joe_schick@ConceptualJames I’m not questioning his friendship. I just don’t think it’s a fair attack. James knows the arguments motivating the critics, but he’s sort of evading the substance of them to accuse them of some kind of cognitive dissonance
@LindseyGrahamSC If Iran is so diminished then why did Trump sign an agreement that gives up all of his pre war red lines in exchange for opening the bank to Iran?
@ConceptualJames Why would we bomb them, assuming Trump believe what he spent the weekend telling us: that doing so was futile and the only way to get the Strait open was to give the Iranians what they wanted.
@ConceptualJames Is there anything Trump said in the last 48 hours that makes that remotely a possibility the IRGC should fear? Because I can’t see it.
@ConceptualJames I felt the same way seeing Trump’s MOU. how can someone we trusted do something so shameful. I mean, that’s the honest true as I see it.
@ConceptualJames And they don’t care. That’s sort of the problem. We didn’t finish the job and now they feel emboldened to do whatever they want because Trump chickened out at the last minute.
@ConceptualJames I’m more concerned about the fact that the deal only empowers a crippled regime to continue funding terror, building ballistic weapons and inching towards a nuclear weapon. What was the point of all this if he was going to TACO at the last second?
