@JameyBaskow@FlyersKnitty Flyers in a difficult spot, they just changed the culture here. But some of these guys have been totally useless. Foerster, invisible. Michkov, terrible. York, big goal but no goals in 37 games prior. Drysdale, oof very bad. Zegras, goal last night but nowhere near Elite.
Konecny scores twice, Sam Ersson Withstands a bombardment of close-range one-timers, and Flyers defeat Golden Knights to end 6-game losing streak https://t.co/tojo175yCt
@dsilver88 I’m very concerned about the return we are going to get long term with Drysdale. I feel like he’s one injury away from derailing his potential and ends up being out of the league in a couple years. Cutter meanwhile…
@JeffSi5000@afern_alex Yeah, Zegras is playing well right now. And I’m happy for the guy and I’m happy for the Flyers fans for that much. But the much bigger picture is that Zegras is not a player to build the Franchise around. We need players that will ascend to upper echelon of talent in the league.
@MaherMediaCo @JacksonHockeyX @_ChrisMaher There is no comparison between Zegras and Lindros. What is the commonality between them, that they both scored points? Name me any Flyer that has scored points : Forsberg, Richards, Gagne, Briere, Giroux, Voracek, no way Zegras has supplanted any of the players I mentioned
@MrBeast in honor of the Penny’s last date of production you should do a Scrooge McDuck moment where you fill an entire room with $1M of pennies and film your findings.
@pecopowerpIay He’s been decent for 6 games. And yeah expectations are high, he was a high pick and we gave up a highly talented young player to get him. Cutter is proving he can put the puck in the net (which the Flyers need goals), and we did not get Drysdale to be a 2nd or 3rd pair guy.
@JameyBaskow@FlyersKnitty Juulsen has looked very good. Solid and reliable possessing and moving the puck. He’s def earned his spot on this team and looks to be a gem of a find for his price tag.
@JameyBaskow Really savvy play by Vladar there. Didn’t try to do too much, just got the puck into a spot where Drysdale could handle it and retain possession.
